If it is deep you will need stitches. If you do not go it will take a long time to heal and will be very sore and there could be complications also. You may need a tetanus shot also.

sure, you may want to get tetanus if that is been round 10 years because you had the ultimate booster. you are able to soak your foot in water as warm as you are able to stand it and flow it round contained in the water, attempt this for a minimum of one/2-hour or more effective a pair situations an afternoon, it really is what i have achieved with sore cuts that did not appear like they might heal up, and then dry it off good and use Neosporin on the decrease. i'd be calling the well being dept. or a clinical specialist and asking about getting a tetanus shot.

you need to go to have it looked at
after a certain amount of hours a wound cannot be sutured (stitched)
but steristrips or a liquid bandage which is like a glue can be used to close the wound
you probably will need a tetanus shot especially because the wound was caused by metal
it can also be assessed upon examination and cleansing if you are at risk for infection and need antibiotics

Yes, get to the ER asap...if it's bad enough to keep bleeding you probably need stitches and you need a tetnus shot if you haven't had one lately. Infection is also another possibility that may develop in an open wound, especially on the foot...please get it taken care of...good luck.

You need to go and at least get a Tetanus shot. You don't want lock jaw. The fact that it keeps bleeding may be an indication that you need some stitches. Go have it looked at

all cuts can be serious. any break in the skin can lead to infection. was the object you cut yourself rusty if so that might lead to a tetanus shot but I AM NOT A DOCTOR sounds like a trip to a quick care of emergency room to be safe

After 24 hours the medics won't suture the wound, cause of the potential infection, but you should have had Tet Toxoid injection to prevent blood poisoning LOL!!! Maybe an antibiotic as well

keep the cut "shut".. don't get it wet. this will allow the flesh to "bond" again when the blood is allowed to coagulate... only YOU can tell if you need stitches and a trip to the ER. However, even without the ER trip... you'll need to get a booster shot for tetanus.

You should go, especially if you have not had a tetanus shot within the last three years. Also to make sure it gets cleaned out so it doesn't get infected.

Good luck!

Yup, just for the tetanus shot. Or you could go to your regular GP tomorrow morning if they can fit you in, but you do need the tetanus shot for sure!
