1. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is considered a walking incarnation of Chenrezig ( Avalokitesvara in Sanskrit, Kuan Yin in Mandarin )
2. Mother Teresa was considered a living buddha by many buddhist schools although she was Christian.
* a living Buddha is not some mystical being floating around in white robes and bathed in strobe lights ( thats just someone's vision while on lsd ) but a living Buddha is one who exemplifies one or more a Buddha's qualities, above and beyond the norm of society. Qualities like Selflessness, Compassion, Kindness, Charity, Peace, Love etc.
I am begining to think Reverend Cheng Yen from Taiwan or the Tsu Tzi Foundation is also a living Buddha
Add: Spykid 13, ( you are a kid and your 13... get pass puberty first ) it is judgemental comments like that that has caused thousands if not millions, to dislike and keep away from Christians like you. You give a bad name to the kind and loving christians who follow jesus' way, with your following Paul's way instead.
You are worshipping the wrong god, Jesus is supposed to be your example...NOT Paul.
Also how do YOU know who goes to heaven or not? Are you God's scribe? No.... Have YOU died and Gone to heaven and back? No also... so you are basing your comments on heresay as much as everyone else.... who knows maybe... nasty christians are NOT headed the same way as kindly christians are going ((( twilight zone music ))

Ask your friendly neighborhood Buddhist. People who are considered enlightened in the tradition are given the title of Buddha (not to be confused with The Buddha).

Enlightened is a loaded term that doesn't really have a universally agreed upon definition. Many people and traditions define it in terms of being able to demonstrate particular dualistic phenomena, like saintly behavior, perfected siddhis, rainbow body, witnessing 24/7, etc. Personally, I prefer to use the term 'awakened', and I define it as knowing oneself as nonduality on the level of pure awareness. It's that basic realization of "I AM THAT". It's the shift away from sole identity with the limited ego/mind/body.
And, yes, there are awakened people in the world.

I believe there are several living buddha saints. Every religion seems to have Saints. I was blessed with meeting two living Siddha Saints that have the power of God to baptize with spirit and with fire. See swami muktananda paramahamsa his page is on the net.

All people are Buddhas... this is covered up in most people... they are unable to experience it...
When you are enlightened... you recognize others in this way.

Budda was not a god. He might have been a smart person but he is not to be worshiped in my opinion. Anyone who claims to be "Enlightened" just has his own take on life. That's all.

There is no buddha. Satan is a deceiver. He was the one who created buddhism to deceive we humans. Because Satan doesn't like God's creation, which is us, humans. And thus, he wanted us to suffer. Buddhists do not go to heaven. They go to hell. Because they did not accept Jesus as their savior. Check it out. God bless you.
