It may be true with other things but it is not true with relationships because the person that got dumped will never forget about that. There is a lot of hurt there.>

I completely believe in that saying. I've left and been left by people I loved but always kinda knew they didn't feel the same as I did. So things ended. They never came back and I did try to go back, but since it wasn't "true love" it never worked. But even though it never worked out for me, I still believe that statement to be true. If someone truly loves you, they won't be able to continue without you and will do just about anything to be with you. If they don't, then at least you know where you stood with them.

Its actually a load of crap advice people (usually girls) give each other when trying to be supportive.

The only reason people come back is because they realise that they made a mistake ..

... or they are jealous of your new partner .. and the fact that u seem to have moved on ... and wanna see if they can still play games with you .. lol

... or they have just been dumped ... rebound... watch out !!

It's not always a question of who dumped who. Love has strange ways of working and I think that if something is meant to be...it will be....if not...it wont be...you cant force theese issues either way. Time is the only thing that will tell one way or the other. xxx

I have dumped them and then realize later on that I want them back. When they came back I realized that they were an ex for a reason.

to a certain degree.you cant win someone over by getting too close too fast or making them fell that way or even if they dont ahve a legitimate reason to feell thsi way of being smothered but express this throught their action sor words or what they dont say.

So in this sense you actually are loving them but it seems like youare letting go but in fact you are being kind to them. Now if they dont respond positively then you may wnato to or need to let them go and then it would take time.

Hope that helps

I made a mistake of choosing my friends over him. I was fond of him,but didnt realise i loved him as well and couldn't live without him. There is another saying that says ''you'll never know what you have until it is gone". i went running back to him only two days later. he was fortunately still in love with me and accepted me back. we are now living like in a fairytale.
So all u guyz and galz out there, hold on to your loved 1s and never let go....xoxo

H3LL NO! Honey if you love something you got to hold on to it/them. You wouldn't want to give up your chance of happiness do you? Thats just an old wives tale. Don't always listen to them. Listen to your heart!
