I remember vividly how great Moorer was in his days at 175lbs. He often fought on ESPN or on USA Network's Tuesday Night Fights. He won the WBO Title in only his 12th pro fight (12W-0L 12KOS). He defended it for almost 3 yrs and in 1989 defended it 6 times, unheard of today.

He was a text book definition of a "KronK" fighter. Devastating KO power at 175lbs. In 1991, he decided to go for the more lucrative money fights in the Heavyweight division. He vacated the title after 10 defenses and with a remarkable record of (22W-0L 22KOS).

Sorry, I almost forgot. This "dream" matchup assumes both men are at their prime at 175lbs. Who wins and a view on how you think the fight would progress. Thanks

I couldn't agree with you more Brent, I was mad when he decided to go north. He was crushing the competition at 175lbs. Just imagine if he stayed at LightHeavy for another 4 to 5 years he could have met Roy Jones Jr in a Mega Fight. Good answers both of you, ty

Yes Moorer would win it handily. He was great at 175.

{ } - Moorer would wipe the canvas with Tarver. Moorer was an absolute animal/destroyer at 175. Moorer wins by a brutal KO round 4. I believe Tarver would be out of his league in this dream match.
Good question { } !

Addition - it's too bad there wasn't enough money at Light Heavyweight for Moorer to continue in the division. If he stayed at that weight we could be talking about him being one of the all time greats. That's how good he was at Light Heavy.

Each person is entitled to their opinion but I believe there is someone who needs to be educated and put in their place. Fboxers get a life, no one wants to hear your drabble.

I agree with Brent F. Michael Moorer's power would be way to much for Tarver to handle.
