I'm recently in Iraq and I'm going home soon. My now ex-girlfriend broke up with me because she couldnt handle me leaving for so long. While I was gone I still talk to her but not in a girlfriend boyfriend way. Some of the last time we talk she told me she was thinking of dating other people. I still have feeling for her but I really dont want to get my hope up and think we can get back together. What should I do?

Thanks for keeping freedom alive for us back in the states. Now to the question at hand, move on. It sounds that she has no interest in you, why get your hopes up for a fall. Why force yourself on someone that doesn't feel the same for you. Your time will come when you'll get that person in your life. Remember if they don't show any emotions or love towards for you, why try !!!

dude u already know the answer ... dont expect anything outta her ... anything outta the relationship u once shaerd ...but that does not mean u lose hope ... just let her be and be urself ... the guy she fell for ... she ll comr along once she sees that i promise ... even if she doesnt u know u have a friend that u can fall back upon ... there are very few ppl who can be friends even after they break up ... cherish this ....

When you go back you can fill your heart with confidence and ask her if she still have feelings for you and if she says yes than its your lucky day and you can get together again...
but if she says no...
then I guess it is time for you to move on...
at least you still can keep in touch as friends.

It would not hurt to drop by and say hello to her..However, you have been protecting our country, you should go out meet lots of gals! You could possibly find someone you like even more, and could make you happier.

i think you should call her and slip into th convo if shes met any1 new and iuf noit hint tht your coming over and that you could go and see her if she wanted
