Im shy and like a girl at my local petrol station, I think she might like me because she has let me off a few times when iv gone slightly over on fuel and she always smiles.
I cant seem to decide if she is just being polite and even if she does like me, how the hell do i ask her out?

This is what to do:
Next time you go there to fill up, do as normal, overfill and say, with a very cheeky smile on your face, "I always like to make sure I put in more than I take out". Then wink.
She should get the gist after that and either slap your face, call the police or burst out laughing.
If its the latter you're in.
One thing - you may have to catch yourself out to overcome the shyness - try not to build things up in your head too much, talk to lots of people for a couple of days before. FLIRT LIKE CRAZY.
By the time you're there you may already be a stud - who knows?

I know its difficult to ask someone when your shy but try the following
1. Be friendly if she smiles smile back - if it happens again tell her can compensate by buying her a drink after work
2. if she has a name tag - when you speak to her refer to her by name e.g. Thanks for that Amy its nice to know the cute guy knows you name (that's if your cute)
BUT MAYBE
She knows you like her and your shy and its just fun at work for her be careful and don't make a fool out of yourself.

Pull your balls out of pocket, reattach them and strike up a conversation with her and see where it leads. You should be able to tell by actually talking to her if it goes the right way.

Just open your mouth and ask her, you will never know if she will say yes or no until you do, stop wasting time wondering about it and do ask her, shoulders back, smile, deep breath and ask her out, good luck and I hope she says yes.

just ask her, you never know until you try and why not try? the worst that she is going to say is no, ask if if she would like to go out and have dinner sometime or go out to the movies, see where it goes from there

Theres no harm in asking.. always the best thing to do.. Ask and you shall receive or u may not.. but wat the hell u at least gave it a try
