you can go to autozone.com or oreillys auto parts and shop online to get prices of the parts. then $4-500 for the labor . You could do it your self if you have any mechanical experience. Take a digital picture of what the shoes and springs look like before you disassemble them so you will reminder how they go back together.

3-500 in parts. If it has drum breaks, may I suggest upgrading to disc brakes. They made a huge difference on the '70 Maverick I restored.

Honestly, unless the car is in pristine condition inside and out, it would probably cost more than the car is worth. But, if you want to keep the car, you have to have brakes. Automotive service costs vary greatly, so contact a reputable local service center and inquire about brake service prices.

this is what i found on advanced auto parts brake shoes are $12.88 rear and 15 for the front, you will want to replace the drums $20 each for rear 30 each front, you might want to replace the wheel cylinders ther 15 each rear 30 each front and dont for get to flush the mastser cylinder and lines. if you do it your self it will be about $218 if you replace all that
