You are very sane so it's not in your head, unless I have the same disease.

Yes, they are haters. The only thing about it is, they hate through OPPRESSION. The more money they make, the more that others are oppressed. This is how the hate happens. All the tax breaks for wealthy whites accomplish is maintaining the status quo. As far as the Republican party freeing the slaves, this is true. But you have to go back nearly 150 years to find such actions of altruism when the party first formed. The Republican party is similar only in name today. It's like saying the SanFrancisco 49'ers are Superbowl Champs.

You are delusional, or brainwashed by those lib underground websites, they are trying to keep you on the plantation
The Republican party abolished slavery and then took the lead in trying to establish civil rights for blacks. The
Radical Republicans were particularly key in this endeavor. The Republican party was the first, following slavery, to
pass a civil rights bill, vote into office the first black officials, and are credited with the passage of the 13th, 14th, and
15th Amendments, all of which are relevant to blacks.
In 1954 a majority Republican Supreme Court put a halt on the "separate but equal" doctrine in the Brown v. Board
of Education decision and Republicans initiated the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960s. (A fact conveniently overlooked
by Democrats).
In the years following, Republican Presidents, such as Ronald Reagan and George Bush, Sr. appointed blacks to
important and powerful positions in their administrations. Then our present president, George W. Bush appointed
these minorities to his administration:
~Condaleeza Rice - National Security Council Advisor
~Colin Powell - Secretary of State
~Roderick R. Paige - Secretary of Education
~Alphonso Jackson - Secretary to Housing and Urban
Development
~Claude Allen - Deputy Secretary of Health and Human
Services
~Leo S. Mackey, Jr. - Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs
~Larry D. Thompson - Deputy Attorney General
~Steven A. Perry - Administrator of General Services
Administration
Bush has more blacks in his administration than any other president in the history of the U.S.
Apparently the Democrats are not in touch with their own constituents, as they battle school vouchers. Most polls
show that 70% of blacks are in favor of vouchers. And why wouldn't they be? Anyone who has a choice between
sending their child to an under performing public school and a good private school, would most likely choose the
latter. The Democrats complain that this will hurt the public schools, but if the schools had been doing an acceptable
job of educating our youth, we wouldn't be at this point. Isn't it better to give at least some inner city children a
chance for a good education instead of leaving them in the public school system which manages to routinely
produce children who are lacking even in the basics, reading and writing in particular.
President Bush's Leave No Child Behind Act addresses this issue, calling for accountability on the part of the
schools.
Republicans also advocate a safer learning environment, free from disruptive students, while liberal judges' only
concern is the rights of the trouble-making students

Bottom line--you spend too much time on internet message boards if you believe that. These message boards do not represent mainstream America on the right or the left. There are pockets of racism all over, but it is not limited to conservatives.
