When I first read this I thought it was a joke. On reading the other person's answer, I re-thought this. You're using two words here which indicate that you must be qualified before touching someone for medical purposes. The two words are "nurse" and "patient". Therefore the word nurse and in this case, home nurse would require that you have been trained to address problems in home nursing and treatment required as recommended and prescribed by a medical practitioner. To do otherwise constitutes an assault. The second term "patient" requires you to be conversant with the medical procedures as required by the practitioner and you should, as trained be well aware of this. Therefore, I have to ask the question: "Why are you, in that position, asking for pointers?" The prospect of someone dealing with a home nursing situation who needs to request "pointers" from a forum of this nature beggars belief. I am sorry, but I believe you should be reported for further investigation into your qualifications.
