Just because Rick Warren or any other well-known preacher is a best-selling author and pastors a megachurch does NOT mean that they are either commanding a large salary from the church or sitting on top of a huge pile of cash. Can anyone say with any certainty that he's using his money selfishly? Or is he putting much of what he makes back into God's work? Seriously people, pray for the man, don't try to tear him down just because he has a huge ministry with a lot of resources that can be used in so many ways to help grow the body of Christ.

Is he some "tele-vangelist" scam-artist or something? It's amazing the depths they sink to to scam money out of people, using the Bible. "Give my ministry $1,000, and God will pay ALL your bills and give you lots of cars and a nice house!" I get a good laugh every time I see these greedy wolves in sheep's clothing on TV. Trying to sell people the blessings of God with a $1,000 price-tag. Get real. You'd have to be pretty gullible and biblically-illiterate to believe such sugar-coated lies.

Acts 8:20 - "But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."
