..mly eye doctor tell me that this is because my eyes are too dry and that if I put in saline drops it will help...AND it does...I know it sounds like I'm on drugs..but this really does work...Anybody have any idea why?

Saline contains salt which ionizes in solution. The ions cause the solution within your eyes to have a hypotonic environment, or net movement of water into cells. Basically salts are ions and ions help retain water.

Saline is a salty solution and as u probably know, salt absorbs liquid. I guess the salt must have something to do with drying up the tears or something. By the way, I have the exact same problem as you, but I have never found or seeked a cure.

I have the same problem and when i visited a doctor i was told its allergy reaction so why don't you try spects that will help during windy weather.

I have exactly the same problem. We could be on our way to a night out and my eyes are streaming!! So thanks, I'll try your tip...but sorry I have no idea why that would work either.
