following on from my previous Q, this guy has been chasing me for ages and ages. i have kissed him only. he hasnt asked me out on a date or anything. its all really casual. we only meet if we are both in town on a nite out. when we are together, he pays me compliments and is a true gent!he doesnt flirt with other girls or speak to other girls and always makes conversation with me. i always catch him looking at me when he thinks im not looking.

Hi Friend....Doesnt look like both of you are crazy about each other or something! Definitely there are signs that says he likes you. But whether he is playing games with you or whether he is trying to get into your pants or whether his looks are genuine, these things you can say only as time goes. As they say, for now enjoy the chase, but if you like him too, dont prolong the chase too much lest you might lose him. If he is a genuine guy give him a few hints that you like him too and see what his reactions are...sometimes, it can be just that he is a bit shy..of course! A rarity these days. If he just wants to be in your pants, he would definitely move with those intentions and if he really likes you, for sure he should be able to show you his romantic sides first instead of what is in his pants! If i was in your situation I would definately think that he was interested- but he wants you to take the lead. So, if you are anything like me then be straight to the point. Tell him you love the way he flirts with you and when you kissed it was great and you think you should take things further. Go out on a date or something- just you two and not your friends.
I think things will blossom here. He is just a bit shy and would be more comfortable if you are the one that takes the lead as I said before.

He sounds just exactly like my hubby was with me 25 years ago, shy and worried that if he does ask you out you will say no, that you see him more as a friend than a relationship, just take the bull by the horns and ask him out yourself, why waste time wondering when it could turn into something even more beautiful than it is already, bet he will be relived to know you feel the same about him as he does about you, good luck and go for it.

If you're his first crush then he might be so nervous, not wanting to screw anything up so he plays it too safe. I wouldn't bet on you waiting on for this guy cos if he doesn't have the courage to speak up by now he probably never will or when it's too late. If you feel you have nothing to loose by trying, ask around your friends and his friends what the word is...there are sneaky ways of finding out if you really want to. Or ask him if he wants to go out for dinner and if he says no, then you know for sure.
