Yes, but only once!!
I had long straight hair that was getting a bit dry on the ends so decided to lop it off.
I cut the fringe first and then when it was wet i smothed it back and then cut it straight across at the back. It took a while and I had to use a 3 way mirror ut the result was a fab angled bob.
Never was able to repeat that first triumph though! Once spent 3 days wearing a hat til a hairdresser could fit me in for a restyle after one disasterous attempt!!

I have been known to cut my own hair for years, in-between being able to find good hairdressers to do the job.

I simply pull the hair up in the air in chunks and cut it to the same length/height as my fringe.

I work around the head pulling up the strands of hair and cut it at that length.

It is so very simple to do, and creates a lovely layered "shag" cut style that allows for natural waves to give the hair bulk and keeps it neat and out of your face, with a soft fringe.

Imaging hanging your head down (Like standing on your head) and just cutting your all your hair in a straight line about 4inches from your scalp....

A bit of mousse and hairspray and it looks like a hairdressers done it.

I certainly have. However, short is usually the best method. A number 4 all over is pretty easy to do yourself. Then do the back and sides with an number 2. Then number 1 for the edges. And finally take all the attachments off and get some lines.

Easy!

I have trimmed the ends of my hair in between going to hairdressers but my hair is long so any mistake can be leveled up when I go the Hairdressers if my hair was short I would trim the front and sides but the back would be tricky.

I've doen it ok a few time, but like someone above said, mine is curly too so you can't really tell if it'sd not cut striaght!!
But usually before i go to the hairdressers i cut it myself to around the length i want it or they never cut off enough, then they can just tidy it up for me!

Nope! the only time i've ever been stupid enough to do it myself is when i was little and i didnt want to tell me mum i got chewing gum in my hair, but i had to tell her because she noticed a lump of hair missing from my "neat little bob cut" (thankfully no longer have that cut LoL!)

I have snipped the ends but never actually given myself a proper haircut! I have curly hair so even when I have taken too much off, its been fine. The hairdresser fixes it when I go!

I have infact cut my own hair many times

It is eay you should just put your scissors vertically and chop different bit it makes it look choppy and fresh. I find it easier to do it with your hair straight and dry?
