Lung cancer treatment could be in a form of chemotheraphy, radiography, and surgery or combined. However it does not offer complete cure. If detected early, your chance of having good result is high but a relapse can be expected to happen in the future. Some treatment just offer palliation or just a temporary relief. There are new chemotherapeutic drugs combination available this days which are believed to give better results in lung cancer treatment.

If you are a smoker: Stop right now as it is one way of helping yourself with this form of cancer though it is not guaranteed due to the fact that all smokers do not get lung cancer and some lung cancer patients are not smokers. Anyway keep away from smoking!♥

My understanding is that it kinda cures itself... meaning it won't be a problem one "lives" with for very long.

Early detection can make modern treatment possible, but after a point, you're pretty much done.

Being a smoker, I imagine I'll find out soon enough.

if its early + localized to one lobe or one lung, it may be managed surgically and then radio or chemo therapy, but its not that simple, there si check list to be excluded for the tumor to be operable
however, the vast majority of patients present with already advanced disease and this is one of the nastiest cancer that doctor cannot do much to

Treatment and Drugs for Lung Cancer:
The treatment options for the cancer are dependent upon the stage of the cancer at which a person is suffering from. There are many different treatment options available such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy as well as targeted drug therapy. The following are the best options as follows:

Surgery: This option goes out to remove the lung cancer of the person after maintain a healthy margin of the tissue as well. Some of the best types of surgical options are as wedge resection, segmental resection, lobectomy as well as pneumonectomy. The lymph nodes of the person are checked for the cancer. The surgery also carries along the risks such as the internal bleeding as well as infection. In case the portion of the lung is removed, then the remaining of the tissue expands back to the normal.
Chemotherapy: In this, the drugs are used to kill the cancer cells. The drugs are either given intravenously or even are taken orally. The drugs are given over the series of the treatments and are given between the breaks in order to allow the time for the recovery. The therapy is used to shrink the cancerous cells and then makes them easier to remove.
Radiation Therapy: In this, high powered x Rays are used in order to kill the cancer cells and therefore, can be directed to the cancer cells from outside source directly. This therapy is used to kill the cancer cells if they cannot be removed with the help of the surgery. For patients, whose cancer cells are very small, the stereotactic body therapy is also used as an option.
Targeted Drug Therapy: This is a new cancer treatment in which the cancer cells are targeted as per their specific abnormalities. Bevacizumab, Erlotinib as well as Crizotinib is used in order to target the specific cancer cells. The side effects of the treatment can include nausea as well as vision problems in some cases.

I have always believed that the mainstream medical industry is not interested in finding a cure for cancer because it makes too much profit with its present barbarous methods.
Eventually, I came across a detailed report which agreed with my findings, and I have included it in my web page at

http://dgwa1.fortunecity.com/body/cancer.html

By reading this report, you will also convince yourself that it is best to ignore the mainstream cancer industry, and seek alternative cures. Also you should bear in mind that the medical industry will do anything to protect its profitable position, including disparaging alternative healers or even creating bogus court cases.

I believe that cancer is a whole body thing, which in 80 percent of cases manifests itself by producing symptoms in the weaker parts of the body, and therefore appearing localised. It is this treatment of symptoms instead of cause which creates the profitable, yet non-successful approach of mainstream medicine.

Some cures are listed on the web page too.

It is therefore obvious that a holistic approach is required, based on cleansing, diet, exercise and debugging.

CLEANSING
The best way of cleansing is to fast.

but if a patient is too weak for that, or does not fancy the idea, then alternative cleanses are available.

DIET,
The best diet is vegetarian, avoiding all processed, frozen or micro-waved foods and drinks, and based on fresh fruit, fresh vegetables - preferably organic, nuts and seeds. Drinks should be clean water or freshly squeezed orange juice.

Many researchers promote the benefits of vitamin B17 as a healer. this can be found in the following foods:
Apple seeds, alfalfa sprouts, apricot kernels, bamboo shoots, barley, beet tops, bitter almond, blackberries, boysenberries, brewer’s yeast, brown rice, buckwheat, cashews, cherry kernels, cranberries, currants, fava beans, flax seeds, garbanzo beans, gooseberries, huckleberries, lentils, lima beans, linseed meat, loganberries, macadamia nuts, millet, millet seed, peach kernels, pecans, plum kernels, quince, raspberries, sorghum cane syrup, spinach, sprouts (alfalfa, lentil, mung bean, buckwheat, garbanzo), strawberries, walnuts, watercress, yams.

A commercial preparation of B17 is available called Laetrile.

EXERCISE
Exercise should be sufficient to create a sweat, but not sufficient to make you gasp for breath or feel over-tired. About one hours exercise every day is best.

DEBUGGING
There are various theories about how bugs create cancer.

Hulda Clark suggests that parasites are the cause, and that they can be disposed of by using a zapper.
