as soon as i became an adult,at the age of 14,i used to masturbate ,sometimes weekly, sometimes daily, and may be 3 or 4 times a day.just after 3 years ,at the age of 17, i've been suffering from erectile dysfunction.i'm now 23 years old.i'm very shy to visit a doctor because i'm very young to have impotence.so i wanna ask :is masturbation the cause of my impotence or not?

i also forgot to say that my semen became very transparent in colour (or very pale white) and very unviscous.i can say its viscosity is 2 or3 times the viscosity of water.

i also want to say if it was true that masturbation is healthy, maybe the cause was a wrong technique for doing it?

Impotence and masturbation have not been scientifically linked to my knowledge. I assume that the erectile dysfunction is taking place with the presence of a partner rather than alone. If this is the case it could be "performance anxiety" meaning that the stress of having to please is causing you to fail.
At some stage or another men will have some form of erectile dysfunction (usually caused by a high alcohol intake) although few will admit it to anyone other than their partner. It can happen with new partners with whom you arent as comfortable and are putting yourself under pressure causing the erectile dysfunction.

The changes to your semen are due to lower amounts of sperm being present. This will be down to the amount of masturbation, it is reversible though. The less you masturbate the whiter it will become as your testicles will have a longer time to make more.

Should t be happening when you are alone try to cut down on the number of times you masturbate for a while and it should return. Should none of the above workthen im afraid the only real option left is the doc. He is bound by patient confidentiality and can tell noone else about your condition, he will NOT laugh at you and should take your problem seriously.

Hopefully this has been of some help, good luck and happy erections

Not likely. Masterbation is good for the erectile function. If you don't use it you loose it.. Other factors that could be causing you problems:
1) alcohol, drugs, smoking
2) excessive soy in your diet
3) bicycle seats pinch the erectile nerve
4) maybe you haven't found anything/anyone that turns you on
5) STD (although you can't get an STD from masturbating)

If haven't had an erection in six years it might be too late to see a doctor but you should anyway. Its definitely not from masturbating--I've been at it at least daily for the past maybe twelve years. I can still get up and I'm older than you.

masturbation by itself would not cause impotence or erectile dysfunction. So, as much as it embarasses you, go to a doctor, drop your pants and get everything, and I mean everything, checked out thoroughly.

Although your problem may be a simple blockage or an easily treated infection, it may require more treatment than you will ever get here. But only a doctor taking his time to check things out and run some tests is going to really come up with a solid diagnosis which hopefully will have you solid again soon.

I would hold off a bit and just do it 1-3 times a week. If you can't you might be too dependent on your masturbating actions. Sometimes your body needs a break because it takes energy to produce dna and cells needed for reproduction. Check your health and eating habits, sleeping habits too. If you are unhealthy, your body will stop some functions till it normalizes.

Finally, a girl friend can help too.

Hope this helps.

That no effort is wasted, nothing learned done or made is useless, people are complex and are never what they seem, everyone has motives whether they know it or not, for something to exist it has to be triggered- this goes for actions emotions and everything else in life,i should always do everything to the best I my ability, everything doesn't have to include emotions, sleep is precious, and the goal to life is happiness but, however lazy someone is they can not be idle an however hardworking they are, they still have to stop and have precious moments of absorption of the beauty around them.

Yes it is the cause of your impotence !! in order to gain confidence you need to exercise self control. you should read a book called Taoist Secrets of Love: Cultivating Male Sexual Energy
Author(s): Chia, Mantak........................................................................... use deep meditation Cd's that have help me with my issues a lot thy cause a bunch of issues to surface though, i think it is so that you are faced with it and you can overcome the issue, the instructions for the program say to use the Cd's every day but i think that it is only a good idea to do this for the first six weeks of the program and then to use them at your own pace of maybe two or three times a week at least for me anyway, ALSO DON'T TURN THE VOLUME UP VERY LOUD AT ALL WHEN LISTENING TO THE CD'S (when listening to these Cd's you have to use a portable CD player with headphones) the company is called center-point (click on link)http://www.centerpointe.com use for at least two months!!
i think this is why Jesus (he came to give us knowledge that can free us from sin and death)talks so much about sexual immorality, look at what it doe's it can imprison a person and make them weak and shy and uneasy and can take control over ones life. the bible says that we are loved by god with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 5:8) find church read bible, go to http://www.bellevue.org and you can watch live sermons.

it's probably not. i'm 30 years old and i've been spanking the monkey since i was 10. and by the time i hit 13, and up to this very day, i choke the chicken as often as i have my meals (including midnight snacks). my only cause for panic was one time when there was blood in my semen (hemospermia). it read about it and it says it could be caused by excessive masturbation. but it soon dissipated, and now i'm back to being a happy spanker.

see a doctor, check out what's causing your erectile dysfunction. maybe your male g-spot shifted, i dunno.
