Well there this guy I like and he finally told me he liked me things went well and he jst broke up with his girlfriend. He kept sending me flirty text messages and so did I and then a month later he went back to his girlfriend, I was really upset but then he said I'm really special to him and I'm his best mate and suddenly we kind of stop texting all together because he was caught up with his girl and he wouldn't reply my texts and then a month later he texts me randomly say how i'm doing and that but he still with his girlfriend!! So am I just a mate or has he started to like me again?

people can like more than one person and the same time. odds are, he doesn't even know what he wants.
knock it off with the impersonal text messaging. when you guys have some real face-to-face interactions, it will be easier to tell what's going on for real between you. impersonal interactions like myspace or texting just confuse matters more.

The question is not to ask if you're his mate or if he likes you...it's if you can tolerate his nonsence. He wants to do you and go back to his gf as he chooses. Place your worth higher and you'll never have to deal with guys like that cos you'd know you deserve better. I can send you a text msg right now and say 'omg I think you're my long lost second cousin's mother!' Would we then be related? ;)

initially the guy needed an absorber:sombody to make him feel he wuz not alone as at dat time.U came in at the right time for that purpose and when everything came back to normal btwn him and the girl friend,u er done.he never had any feeling for u.expect him next time he has problem with the girl friend.

your just his friend. someone to spend time with when he has nothing better to do. seems to me you both had a chance to have more than that when he broke up with his girlfriend but that didn't work out as he went back to her. let him go and find someone that wants you to be his girlfriend
