This is a new habit for one of them We scoop the poop several times a day. What does this mean?. They're all about 1and a half years old. If I find out which one is the nasty pooper should I take him or her to the vet?

Use fresh litter more often and/or get another litterbox. We have 6 cats and 2 boxes seem to be working for them ok.

This behavior indicates a cat that is sick or upset. If the poop is normal looking,it's probably an emotional problem. Have you changed anything-and I do mean ANYTHING,some cats get upset if you move the furniture-or had to discipline anyone lately?
the cat who shows signs of anxiety or fearfulness is probably the culprit. Remember, kitty's not doing this to upset you but to tell you something is wrong.
Of course,if any of your kids show signs of not feeling well, take them to a vet. But usually this is dissatisfaction with the litter box or some other psychological issue because cats dislike change so much and are pretty territorial.

I had three cats and 1 cat box for a long time without trouble. But cats can get picky and the vet suggested 1 box for each cat. I opted for 2 boxes, one hooded and one open and they were fine after that. Also clean it often.

Pick the Poo up and look at the underside, the Bad Boys name will be stamped there, OR feed all 3 cats different coloured food each day, if the poo is green, red or yellow, there u go
