We are failed by the government who subsidise the production of wasteful eaters and refuse to take any action.
Benefits paid to unemployed single parents only on production of a certificate of sterilisation would eliminate the problem in a generation.
A return to corporal punishment would make scars from the lash a 'badge of honour' earned with much pain and not the envy of most lads.
By giving individuals the right defend their property with lethal force and to apprehend vandals, either the crime or the criminals would disappear very quickly.

It was no surprise for me, but I did not know about thier ranking in europe.
Most teachers cant control them in school because their powers to enforce dicipline has been reduced too much.
There are very few families ie. married couple (man and woman!) with their children or parents living in the same house. Even then, if both parents work, then the children end up without an idea of what a real family should feel like.
Unfortunately, the prolem is really with the "public" and the destruction of the family unit. The Government needs to go back and encourage family friendly policies. Anyone remember the married couple tax allowance?

It's hard to do anything as the root cause, I think, is bad parenting. The same study showed better-behaved European teens spent more time at home with their families, and were more likely to have dinner with their families. We can't force parents to keep their kids at home and give them better role models than other teens. If we can restore family life in this country, I think other problems will disappear. As for ASBOs, make them humiliating, eg: make the kids sweep streets in hideous pink boiler suits or something.

im sick of it, im hardly over the hill, im 29, between vandulism to my cars and verbal acttacks,what has happened to the world. I have three weans aged 9, 7, and one coming up to 4. I am constantly getting my ear bit of because i do not let them go outside and play, not unless i take them out to the park, i know it sounds like a bit of a prision sentence, but its not there fault, its the place i live its full of wee animals, my youngest is streetwise, thats only because i am not wanting him to be bullied, the other two are from my partners previous marrage and they just have no chance, if a fight was to start outside it would be the 3 year old standing up for his big brothers, im sick to the back teeth of it. Now winters coming in, more and more kids/teenagers from the ages7 to21 are hanging about, we have been promised security cameras for over a year, still nothing, im not a grass but i seem to be the only one in my area to stand up to this problem, everyone else will moan about it but wont do nothing and the yobs know this, its about time eveyone in the public relised that if we want to conqueur this problem we have to stick together, this is the only way our kids will have a chance at life, without getting involved in the whole carry on, but councils and police have to also relise that it is not easy for one person to stand up to these people without harresment and endangering themselves

Modern child rearing is based on the 'noble savage' theory of human psychology ie everyone is born decent, kind and gentle and is only taught to be thuggish and violent by 'society'. Anyone with the most rudimentary knowledge of anthropology and human history ought to know this is utter b****cks.
In fact we need to teach kids not to follow their inherently selfish nature with strict discipline including, yes, the occasional use of corporal punishment when necessary.

The only way to start to control these KNO*HEADS is to bring back capital punishment!
Either that or shoot them and their parents so that they cannot contaminate the world with their offspring!
