Simply tell him. It's no use sitting around and waiting. Tell him that you aren't really into him like you thought and would like to stay friends, if you want. If he starts crying like a baby...it's just an act to keep you there, don't even try.

Did you have an open mind or did you use your instinct ? Decide what you want from a relation and plan. People can study and prepare for dating just like studying for a particle physics exam.

you need to tell him as quickly as possible. before he does something really sweet too. Tell him how you feel, but dont be brutualy honest and dont argue. Tell him that it isnt working, be firm and dont go into any details (that could lead to a fight)

You just do as soon as you feel it....tell him that you aren't feeling a connection and it's not working for you. Honestly it's not about you or him but the combination and that happens.
