It's a bit much...
But, they are what we're here for.....
Short time! Work to be done! We try to educate them even when it hurts......
We are the "salt" of the earth.... If we were to be the "sugar" of the earth... the world would rot its teeth!!!!
Sometimes, we just got to rub them the wrong way, back!!!

I look at these comments as very condescending. You imply that Christians do not ever "study their beliefs, other's beliefs, and the nature of belief in general" and are less "versed in science and how the world actually works". You stereotype Christians as being feeble minded and ignorant.
You said, "If it's logical to think complex things need a creator, does that mean god has a creator? Or is he more simple than a bacteria?" The thing you will probably never understand about believing in God, is that some things He does are illogical. We can not explain how. Does God have a creator? No. "In the beginning God..." -Genesis 1:1
"It is laziness to simply say "God created it that way."? No. You are also saying that given time, we will someday know everything about everything. I really don't think we could ever understand everything. Is saying "God created it that way." saying we shouldn't try to understand it? No! We can look at God's creation and try to understand how it works.
"Prove god exists."... Prove to me He doesn't! You and I would look at the same thing and see two completely different things. You can't tell a Christian not to use the Bible... Its like saying to you, "Prove to me that evolution is how we all came to be... And BTW, don't use anything out of science books." See how ridiculous that is?
The thing is, you see Christians as people who can't think for themselves. Guess what! You are wrong. There may be some out there, but I can guarantee there are some atheists who can't think for themselves. Have Christians thought about life less because the Bible gives us answers? NO. If you really believe in the Bible, you really have to think about it.

Well, for one, GOD is a Spirit. So you obviously can't use some "scientific equation" to physically sum up his existence in the form of the "proof" that you seek. His "proof" doesn't come packaged that way. Science deals with physical matter, time, and space -- something that GOD is infinitely beyond. If God were a physical being, and bound by time & space, then sure, science would be the proper "tool" to observe him with, and then "sum" his existence up. GOD is a Spirit though -- SEE why we cannot "prove" his existence to you using mere science? Faith is key. When the Son of God came, he emphasized faith, and not science. You asking someone to "prove" God, is like asking someone to "prove" what "color" the air is. You feel the air, yet you cannot see it. Just like God. And anyway, the universe didn't "pop" into existence on it's own or by accident either.

God does not force us to believe in Him, though He could. Instead, He has provided sufficient proof of His existence for us to willingly respond to Him. The earth's perfect distance from the sun, the unique chemical properties of water, the human brain, DNA, the number of people who attest to knowing God, the gnawing in our hearts and minds to determine if God is there, the willingness for God to be known through Jesus Christ.
Jesus appeared to over 500 eyewitnesses after His Crucifixion and Resurrection. Every one of Jesus’ disciples was willing to suffer and die for his beliefs. These men spent the rest of their lives witnessing about Christ. They frequently went without food; they were mocked, beaten, and thrown into prison. In the end, all but one died a painful martyr’s death. Would they have done this for a lie? Of course not. They did it because they were convinced beyond a doubt that they had seen the risen Christ.
Of course you knew all of that because you have studied the beliefs of others. How much more proof do you need, my Atheist friend? Are you waiting for God to tap you on the head? Please don't do that...you wouldn't like Him when He is angry.

I think they are expressing their views in a thoughtful format. Subtract the " pulled by the nose " comment, they raise several valid points. and at the same time, none at all.
The whole argument is based on " proof ". There is no proof one way of the other. Humanity hasn't not yet found a way to positively confirm or deny the existence of God. So, the best that Atheism can argue is that Religion is " lazy ". Religion argues that Atheism is " blind ". Simply put, neither side can see what the other sees because it chooses not too.

For the first part of your question, You need powerful microscope
to look into virus. So to see God you need a proper tool, which
is an enlightened mind in you, and that is extremely hard to get.
There were only handful of great personality who has managed
to gain it.
For the second part, I totally agree with you that atheists are
much better than blinckered religious group.

if your so smart, prove there is no god beyond a shadow of a doubt and then maybe we will take you serious. otherwise try to prove that all science is not just theory. the reason most people dont want to belive in god is if they did they would have to stop living in their immoral sins.
