A valid passport, airline ticket, money, clothes wise bring a rain jacket and a jumper or two. At the moment the weather is similar to the Uk and Ireland. Are you just going on holiday or to work? If to work, bring all your previous work documents and pay slips even.remember for money, they use euro there. If you need a work permit you get it there at the toen hall or prefecture of the town. Can't think of anything else important. Enjoy it and remember your camera too. Good walking shoes may be helpful .

You can get a ticket from waterloos station (London) So make you way there and buy a ticket, board the eurostar train and you will be in paris soon after.
Book the ticket online if you want to save time/money.

Presumably you have a UK passport. That's all you need.
If you have a non-EU passport then contact your local French Embassy to find out the entry requirements
