When I give her water she drinks but she still smacks her mouth is that just a way of showing frustration or is it something else?

Hi no it is most common for bulldogs to do this as it seems to be due to the shortness of the face maybe but they do it quite a lot & always seem to be licking their noses...it's just a breed ting & nothing to worry about...Regards Jake

Oh i know exactly what you mean. I have to listen to it every night with my Westie, i was worried and i ask the vet they said she was fine, I even went a bought a Rabbits water bottle for her so she can take some water during the night, She never does
