You could probably get an emergency one. Contact your local passport office. Good luck at least you've got a week to sort it out.

Actually, you might not need your passport to get INTO France. For example, if you are taking the ferry or entering through one of the Channel Ports, there are no passport controls on the French side. However, there are passport controls at airports - and, more importantly, you won't be allowed back into Britain without your passport.

Peversely, though, the French have made it compulsory for all foreign nationals in France to carry an ID card at all times. And as we don't have a national ID card, they tend to insist on seeing ... your passport!

As the above Contact your Passport Issueing Authority and the should issue you with Emergency travel documentation, ensure you advise them of the urgency. If you are overseas contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate for your Country of residence. Remember take a photocopy of your Passport next time, it sure helps in cases where you need to notify Authorities or get a replacement.

My friend had the same prob last month... go to you local post office they have forms to fill in then you have to contact your local pasprt office ours is in peterbrough the numbers are all on the form. it just saves time.. you may have to travel to go and pick up a new pasport. get some photos done. and sighned and they will also charge its about 50-60 pounds i think god luck.. hope you get one sorted in time have a great time in france..

Go to the Passport agency and tell them you may get a replacement if you hang there all day !!!

u will have to go to the nearest passport place with all the forms correctly filled in and wait a couple of hours till they make u a new one, hope u make it
