You think that since Jesus all ready got married once if was worth even a fraction of his hype he would have picked the right woman the first time. Why would he live heaven to come back here to deal with your mess? He apparently all ready friggin' died for you and taht wasn't enough--what else do you want the man to do. He's dead. Let him sleep. If he is coming back though he better hurry up on coming back, I don't think we're gonna be here all that much longer. Jebus Cripes where you are?

The Church is the Bride of Christ. The Marriage supper will take place while the tribulation is taking place on earth and when He returns to judge the world at the end of the tribulation the Bride (Church) will come with Him and will reign with Him forever.

Christ is the "bridegroom". And the many-membered body of Christ is his "bride" when he returns. This is why he spoke this parable. He wasn't talking about a woman. He likened his believers unto a bride, and his return is the great wedding.

2 Corinthians 11:2 - "For I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."

The bride is the body of all true believers who have kept the faith to the end.(Church)

Ephesians 5:27 - That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

The Bridegroom (Christ) will choose his followers (Bride) to be his wife (chosen ones).......

John 3:28-30 (KJV)

28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

Oh! for crying our Loud?

The bride it means in the Bible....is the CHURCH!......lol

Not a person....it's all His people...and its NOT like a man and woman, being married...Its a statement- that's all...A way of saying the Church,..(in a kind of unusual way) to those who...do not know what, it means...As others Christians do.

It is no way Christ will or can marry a person!
That's impossible...it a figure of speech....only!

If you read the Bible at all, then you would realize that the Bride of Christ is the body of believers who have striven to keep His teachings pure, who believe in Him, and have given themselves to His ordinance.

Bride of Christ=the Church not a woman.

When the bible says Bride or wife it does not mean just that. bride or wife is portrayed in the bible as gods heavenly organisation and the people that are on earth doing his will and those that will rule with him in heavan. Every one needs the bible to be explained to them, if you just read one scripture and not the whole verse you will get a whole diffrent picture. If you really want the bible explained to you in detail and with proof get hold of one of Jehovahs Witnesses

I know some people may have difficulty with this, but it's Mary Magdalene, of course. She's always been his true love, and his favorite disciple. It's all there in Holy Blood, Holy Grail - later synthesized into Dan Brown's book. If he came back, why wouldn't he bring her with him?
