A farmer has to get a corn, a chicken, and a fox across a river. The farmer is only able to bring one of the above items along with him at a time. The only problem is if he leaves the fox alone with the chicken, the fox will eat the chicken, and if he leaves the chicken along the corn sack, then the chicken will eat the corn sack. How does the farmer get all 3 items across safely

The farmer takes the chicken to the other side first, leaving the fox and conn behind as it doesn't say the the fox eats the corn. the farmer comes back and brings the fox to the other side and take the chicken back with him leaving the fox alone. then the farmer swaps the chicken with the corn and takes the corn to the other side.coming back to take the chicken last.

First he takes the chicken and comes back for the corn. He takes the corn and brings back the chicken. After that he takes the fox and comes back for the chicken one last time. When he takes the chicken he is done. As simple as that.

the farmer has to bring the chicken then goes back to get the fox. when he brings the fox to the other side, he gets the chicken and brings it with him and crosses the river to get the corn, then leave the chicken again. he crosses the river with the corn and leaves the corn with the fox. then he crosses again to get the chicken, goes back to where the fox and the corn are, and all four of them are now on the other side.
