NO, not a visa as such, you pay £10 to enter the country when you hand over your passport to be stamped. Make sure it is a £10 note, they dont give change, inside each individual passport.

It does last for a few months, so If you return in that time, you don't have to pay it again.

Its a long, slow queue when you are travelling in the middle of the night with kids.. but unavoidable I'm afraid.

Enjoy your holiday

They will want 10 quid off you when you get there and please don't do what I did and not have enough money on me! I had 5 pounds and 5 euros - in the end, had to take cash out from a cash machine in the airport too - 10 Turkish lira - so they ended up with more than 10 quid but at least I got in (as it happend, the machine illegally cloned my card and now I am having to sort out lots of fraudulent payments out of my account - and all really because I did not have that 10 quid!)

Depends on your nationality. If your British, you can obtain one when you enter Turkey. It costs £10.

YES YOU DO...

ADVICE TO ALL UK CITIZENS!

Its £10 at the turkish airport, when you hand your passport in at the control point! The really good bit is they do not accept; Scotish or Irish notes! They will not take £5 notes or coins! And if ya give them a £20 note they dont give change!

About $20 (£10) at the Turkish airport. They direct you to it on arrival. Prepare to wait about 1/2 hour depending how many are on your flight.

I never knew you needed a visa to enter a turkey.
