If this guy were to fall in love with this gal because of her look to start with. Once they become couple, will the guy lower the capacity to lover his gf unknowingly because his gf is no longer attractive.

Depends if the guy is a shallow, vain, superficial, twisted, mean...oops! sorry went out of order for a bit second. But yeah if the guy is a shallow son of a- then he doesnt deserve the girl. If he is a nice, understanding, sweet and friendly guy than he will either tell his gf that he miss the figure that she use to have; or...not care at all and would still love her.

Love is not about looks. If you love someone you love them for what they are. Looks fade with time, and what is left is love and companionship. The "guy" you are referring to is not really in love if all he cares is how his girlfriend looks (I'm not saying that's not important) that is something called lust. If he was really in love he would not stop loving her no matter what she looked like, and would give her support to help her go through whatever problems she might have. If she is gaining weight all of a sudden there must be a reason... he should talk to her but be gentle and kind. Good luck ;-)

NO! if the guy does this he is obviously shallow! he loves you as a person, not just the way you look. if you are really worried about this you should maybe consider exercising more, not for your your bf, for urself. im sure he still finds you attractive and maybe even more so now, because there is more of you to love!

I have a beautiful GF and she goes up & down like a Yo-Yo. To tell you the truth she looks good when shes all in shape but the sex is much better when she has a bit more meat on her. I'll take her how ever she comes

i dont think love is to do with ones physical appearance, it goes way beyond. so even if he first fell in love out of the physical appearance, then sure enough with time they have gotten to know each other well to be lovers for real.
and at one time in life, infact several times, we loose ourselves and gain weight even if its just a few extra pounds.
if he stops loving her because of her physicals, then he aint worthy of her. instead i prefer if my guy would come and say "Sue, you've added a few extra pounds and i would like you to shed them off." and he should help me do that.
that is love, but not stop loving me.

it is impossible to fall in love just based on looks. that is what we like to call shallow.
and if he loves her, it shouldn't matter. because it is not love unless it lasts forever.
