This year I am getting my other half a voucher for "a proper shave". There is a place in London that specialises in cut throat razor shaves, then they follow that with an Indian Head Massage and a hair cut, it's a nice grooming experience. I will also buy him a game for the PC, and something cute that I have yet to decide, I'll have a look at the Christmas stuff and see if there is anything cute and novel out there.

WOMEN LISTEN!

It doesn't matter WHO the man is. Can be your father. Can be your boss. Can be your husband. Can be your brother. It can be the mailman.

In my exsistance... And it's been a while... Nor in my travels... I've gone right round this earth four times now... Have I ever met a man that didn't look up on a simple pocket knife as being a fantastic gift.

In your case I would suggest the top of the line swiss army varity.

If you are married to a hetorosexual male this is one gift that you can give for every occation and he will say on each occation "wow".

EVEN when he comes too the point that he expects that pocket knife from you... he will open the package and say "COOL!"

It's not the bestest or most uniquest gift ever but it is the one that will earn instant gratification points the most often.

Hope this helps

Guys always like power tool. You can buy an entire cordless tool kind in one big box from any home store. (just avoid the ones with a cordless circular saw as they use up all the power on 1 cut of a 2 X 4) Merry Christmas!

If you're husband's at all like mine you're going to be at a loss like I am. I've decided to just pay a lot more attention to the little things and hopefully he'll hint about something, or mention something even without knowing. I've already tried asking for a list and that didnt work. He told me a few things last year (when we were engaged) and I got them but he never used any of it. So I dont know what to get him that he would want either.

Don't buy him clothes. Buy him a book or a movie or something he likes.

Or get him a gift certificate at his favorite clothing store.

You can also prepare his favorite meal and have a romantic evening where clothing is not a primary consideration and--in fact--may be irrelevant later on anyway.

Don't buy him clothes. Men hate clothes as presents (that's something that mother would do).

Men like TOYS for christmas, that is expensive tools, electronics, dvd's...

If you MUST (but only if you must) buy him clothes in Banana Republic... DO NOT buy him clothes ins department stores...

Good luck

What are his hobbies and interests? Is there a book, dvd, or cd coming out that he wants? Has he mentioned anything that he would like to have but would never buy for himself?

Make him a cool, decorative "gift certificate" for $x of clothing at his favorite store! Then take him shopping. Make it a whole afternoon :)

Save the $$$ to buy a house. If you already have the house, save the $$$ for your retirement.
