They advertise a Nikon D200 and Canon 30D for well under a grand. Those prices are 5 shades beyond outstanding.
Stick to reliable shops like B&H, Ritz Cameras and Beach Cameras.

It might not be a scam. Many companies offer two different prices on the same camera - one will be warrantied by the manufacturer and the other by the seller. They are called gray market cameras. Exactly the same camera but not brought into the country by the manufacturers authorized distributor.

For example: Nikon knows every camera ID number sold in the US that was imported by them. If you buy one brought in directly form a source in Asia (or Europe) it can never be repaired by Nikon - in or out of warrenty. Nikon simply will not touch it. That protects the legitimate resellers who paid the higher price from Nikon USA. Some others might repair them but at a high price.

Sometimes you can save many hundreds of dollars on a high price SLR but make sure you ask the dealer how/where the camera came from and does it carry the manufacuturer's warrenty. At that point it is your decision as to whether to take the chance and buy the cheaper camera knowing it can't be repaired by anyone but a 3rd party shop.

It is a scam.
Also, re grey market cameras:
Bad idea to buy a grey digital SLR, because only the manufacturer will work on them at this point. (I am talking about Nikon here, but maybe true for the others as well)
So if something goes bad, you would be sol.
Good luck in finding a camera!

Total scam.

http://www.resellerratings.com/

Use this whenever you want to see if a store is decent or not. If it isn't on this site, more than likely it is a new scam website.

Be careful. If it is too good to be true, it's probably a scam.
