This morning,i weighted myself.Im so suprised to know that i only managed to add only 0.5 pounds to my weight after a very intensive training.I workout almost everyday, take lots of carbs and proteins + protein shakes.i did around 350 push-ups everyday and 1 hours of workout. Before this, im a bit skinny(-_-") but now i look muscular. My question is, am i gaining appropriate amount of weight after what i did?
Should i increase my workout hours or eat more?
Btw, my metabolism is very HIGH!i get hungry every 3 hours after heavy meals!

i dont have any lifting equipments.I only have one dummbell. That's all.So, most of my training relies on weight training(push-ups,sit-ups etc).
my maximum push-ups is 35 push-ups per rep.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Doing 350 push-ups every day is too much. You're over-training. Try doing it every other day. You need to give your body time to recover and repair itself from the exercise you do before you exercise the same muscle group again. This is generally at least 48 hours. It's during this repair time when you body will add the muscle.
And don't forget to work your whole body. Push-ups are fine for your chest and triceps, but you will look strange if these are the only developed areas of your body. I would think your university would have weight room you can use. Find it and use it. Your team should also have a trainer. Talk to them about the best exercises to add weight.

How much do you wiegh?" (I was in a silly mood that day.) I confrimed my wheight and she came over and wieghed her self and then looked at me and said the funniest thing a doctor has ever said too me. She said "I hate you."
Just roll with it.

Heavy work outs do not help in increasing the weight. It can only add muscle mass. Take light exercises only and eat good nourishing food including uncooked fruits and vegetables.
