Nope. That's not true. Peacock pairs breed the same way other birds breed. In the wild , the males are real playboys, mating with several females, but in captivity they tend to be monogomous.
But they mate just like other birds.

Thats an ignorant and unobservant statement, whoever told you that is an idiot..... just looking at the male Peacock you can see proof of the way they mate.. What the heck do you think all that colourful tail and feathers are for? To impress the female and convince her to choose him as a mate. They reproduce the same way as other birds... by sexual intercourse.
Excerpts from wikipedia...
Male and female birds and reptiles both have cloacae, an opening through which eggs, sperm, and wastes pass. Intercourse is performed by pressing the lips of the cloacae together, during which time the male transfers his sperm to the female. The female lays amniotic eggs in which the young gestate.
Although peafowl are capable of reproducing at the age of 2, peacocks do not reach full maturity until one year later. At the age of 2, the feathers are not fully developed in length and density. While peacocks at that age are physiologically able to mate with peahens, they have very little chance of competing with older peacocks with larger feathers. At the age of 3, peacocks' feathers reach maximum length for their lives, aside from the new feathers that grow after they molt in the late summer.
Mating season starts in the early Spring and ends in the early Autumn. The peacock's courtship rituals include the display of its startling plumage and a loud call. Recent studies have shown that both the frequency and quality of sexual plumage displays by males are reliable indicators of the health status of an individual.

in many situations, i've got faith we are generally equivalent. approximately ninety 9% of each and every human is the comparable. all of us have means all of us have minds. yet there are some variations yet they don't seem to be too important. Racial variations first. The actual visual charm is the main major. whilst human beings of all races accomplished the diverse intelligences quiz (greater that the curiously racially biased IQ try) diverse races scored bigger on diverse categories. Asians and whites have been generally the terrific in formal gaining wisdom of, the kind we enforce in college. Hispanics and Blacks are greater effective and Kinesthetic gaining wisdom of. nevertheless, those variations are very minor. In athletics, the diversities in muscle composition additionally are small with some communities faring greater effective in some muscular categories than others. Many white international places carry out greater effective because of the fact the geography makes farming and cultivation ordinary, the inspiration of all society. maximum international places without a white majority are catching up. approximately financial variations, i think of that is all as much as success. In persons, i think of a few human beings provide up some issues for yet another. inspect many intense college activities gamers, many provide up intelligence for potential. Gender variations additionally are obvious. i think of girls human beings and adult adult males are equivalent intellectually, yet adult adult males, who've a lot greater testosterone, are in lots of situations a lot enhanced. we are inching nearer to equality everywhere. Africa, Asia, and South u.s., that are referred to as undesirable, are at present starting to be. women human beings and adult adult males are gaining equivalent possibilities and racial variations are commencing up to wane. many stuff although, we can probably in no way have the means to alter. common, i think of we are generally equivalent.
