LOL, I'm assuming you mean cockroach. This reminds me of something that happened when I was just a child. I'd say age 8. I remember my mom putting on her hairdryer. They had those shower cap looking things with a big tube attached to it. Anyway, next thing I know she rips that thing off her head. Opens the drawer and grabs a q-tip. Sticks that q-tip in her ear. Next thing I know a spider comes running out of her ear along that q-tip. lol. Oh man that was 40 years ago. I think it traumatized me. I'll never forget that moment. Try a q-tip. Go easy as to not squish it. If you meant another kind of roach. Well that's another story I'll save for another time. =)

DO NOT USE PEROXIDE!! Have your husband lay on his side with the ear up and fill the ear with warm water. The roach should float up so you can get it with tweezers. If it's too far down, you have got to go to the ER or Doc so they can get it out. You can also try getting an ear bulb syringe (like the ones they use to suck out babies noses) and with the affected ear down, irrigate the ear over a bucket, that way you can see if it flushes out.

When I was doing clinical rotation, I saw this once. The girl that had it wasn't in any pain as she was creeped out.

Go to the ER and let a doctor get it out. They will flush your ear and make sure all of it comes out. Anything left behind may cause an infection.

Best wishes.

Try standing on one leg and hopping up and down while hitting the opposite side of the head. If that doesn't work try a baby ear syringe but instead of blowing in the soapy water try sucking it out.

Why was he smoking his spliff through his ear?

But to get it out, try blowing smoke into his ear, that will normally make it leave.

Or put a bag of ice over his ear for a while, that may fool it into going to sleep and you should then be able to remove it with tweezers.

agreeing with the others who suggested that you take him to the ER... they have the ability to deal with the problem there. I know I have assisted with removing many cockroaches from ears.

Take him to the emergency ward of your nearest hospital. Don't try to get it out yourself because bits could be left behind and cause infection.

get him to the ER...the roach might be dead already and it's dangerous for something to enter your inner ear...call call call the hospital...

Pour some castor oil in his ear and it will drown. Probably vegetable oil would work too.
