I believe that everyone can make mistakes, and miss the mark on their first shot, so everyone should also be given a second chance (within reason- not to cheaters, abusers, etc.). If you've given a "million" chances to this guy, then you've gone beyond the point of giving, and gone straight to "begging". Don't do that. He's not worth it. Save your energy dignity and effort for someone who will appreciate it, and will want a chance with you at first sight.

Chances to what? Cheat on you? I'd say none, unless you're already married, then maybe you could forgive one mistake if you're an extemely forgiving person. Otherwise none.

Or if you mean chances to do or say things, besides cheating, that make you cry, I think one chance per month you're together is more than enough. If it happens more than that it means you're not confused, he's a jerk for certain.

It doesn’t matter anymore.

I used to sit and wonder to myself,
what it was, I did so wrong.

Could I have treated you different?
or wrote you, a beautiful song.

I loved you with all of my heart,
and I believed, you truly loved me.

You used to say, I was your true love,
and there was no place, you’d rather be.

How could a love so wonderful and pure,
change, from the day we first met.

Was it I, who did you wrong,
or a friend, I will never forget.

But now, it truly doesn’t matter anymore,
why, you hurt and cheated on me.

Because I know, deep in my heart,
It wasn’t I, who cheated on thee.

So I just want you to know,
that if you ever, think of us two.

My life was truly changed, my dear,
and I deserve, a lot better than you.

One chance is enough for the intelligent. You gave a million chances he must be a big Dumbo

A million chances are definitely too much. Are you ready to be disappointed another million times? Take care of yourself.

I think the old 3 strikes your out, is good, but that also depends on how much you care. but 3 stirkes, even if you love him with all your heart and soul, he may not feel that way about you.

I, personally, am an advocate of the "3 strikes your out" rule. unless it is a big mistake, like cheating on you, physical abuse, etc.

I think two is fair after that it's absolutely intentional that he doesn't care about hurting you.
