The Brits just speak a different dialect than those of us in the U.S.--same case with Spanish dialects between Spain and Mexico. It's not that one dialect is "better" or "worse" than another--it's just like the differences between people's speech in the Deep South versus the Northeast. Each dialect is unique to its own region and accepted in its region of origin. Those of us who aren't from a particular region just think something is weird because we haven't been exposed to it.
My family moved from Indiana to Alabama in 1987, when I was 16. People down in Alabama loved my "Hoosier accent." Then I ended up back in Indiana in 2001 and was kidded for having a heavy Southern accent. What matters isn't our accent or dialect or whatever, but how well we are understood in the places where we spend the most time.

I'm afraid to say that you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Your statement is too general. You cannot listen to a few brits who speak cockney and make a sweeping statement like "Brits speak English so horribly". That being said, I think it is true to a certain extent that native speakers of any language tend to not put too much emphasis on the correctness of their grammar and language. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing either, as it leads to evolution of a language to become more versatile and colourful.
Apart from that, if you are talking about pronunciation, English people generally have very good pronunciation, as do the americans. The only difference is that the English speak Brittish English and the Americans speak American English. I don't see how one can be worse than the other.

Well English originates from England and Spanish, the Castillian language of today, originates from Spain. I don't know about Mexican Spanish but in some south american countries they still speak old Spanish. The English still speak their language how it should be spoken, just like the Spaniards. Americans tend to use more slang and have a "warmer" accent, i think.
Like in most couintries there are also dialects...

Ha HA!! This made me laugh so much! It's like everything else invented in England. They no longer are the best at it! Football, cricket, rugby, speaking their own language ...... etc.
Then again perhaps, and just perhaps, in this case it is the other way around. I am guessing that most people (including most Americans) think that Americans have bastardised the English Language.
To be fair though, in South and North London, it is quite oftewn difficult to understand a word that is said, init!

This is just so wrong! The English had it first. And I am American. But we don't speak Queen's English in America; we definitely speak American. RP (Received Pronunciation) of English--think of the way the Royal family speaks--has never been spoken in America, or is long since corrupted and forgotten.

Your question is based on an entirely false and erroneous premise.
The Americans do NOT speak English.
