The countless words making op our image of God, are one and the same in inspiration. We need compassion to understand the insurgents killing each other in a blinded rage fed by will full religious teachers misinterpreting the Teachings. In the Western world, just as much as in the Eastern and Southern World.. These senseless massacres, serve but one goal. Only Evil lusts in the bloodshed and desecration of Holy Life. I have learned, a man called Jesus once walked the Earth, The World shaped in his image, has nothing from the man. Teachers in different camps of the same religion, all claim to have the exclusive right to the Truth. Daily bombings in most Arab country's do make one think about the sense of it all. The Manley P. Hall encyclopedia on World religions (including Cabal la, Alchemy,Cosmology, Mythology) doesn't tell you what to think. There's a lot more Alchemy in daily life, than I would have thought, when I read about certain experiments. In ancient Times, all things had their own God more or Les... To me it feels like a lot more natural and in synchronicity with Truth and the meaning of life.
A Religious institute operating in this day and age of enlightenment can only be qualified as unsavory to say the least.
In 2000 Years, the religious leaders have had ample Time to realize, that Church is not on the Path of Christ, and that the people know it. Rome is an empty mausoleum, Islam, is nothing more, than dogmatic fanatics tearing each other apart over interpretations of scriptures.. When John Paul II Died in 2005, He took the last essence of Christ on Earth back with him to the other side.

Religion came into being because people want to be part of a group that thinks the way they do. It gives a feeling of security and belonging (such as a family) to be with people that follow the same rules and traditions as you do.
Being a free nation with freedom of worship people should and can enjoy being part of any religious group. No religion should be the only one and are as varied as people are.
The main thing is that everyone should be tolerant of someone else's choice of religion. If you are minding your own business then it should not be in your mind to restrict anyone into thinking your way.

Religion???
There is only one God, the Creator, and one Son, Jesus.
Jesus was not a prophet, He is the Son of God and the one who came, taught us, and showed us the way to an eternity of life in perfect peace.
Religion is a generic word. There is one way, and that is knowing Jesus and knowing that He came and died and rose to life again. Period. It is our choice to believe the Bible or the koran or some fictional book about aliens. We are allowed to not believe in anything. Each of us has to learn the truth or not.
God bless us all.
God, the Creator

For me, my religion is the only way. For another, their religion is the only way, but it never hurts to invite someone to your religion. All they have to say is yes or no! I think you get what I am trying to say here.

No. All religions are merely different perspectives on the Divine. Since we are all different it is only natural that we would look upon the infinite Divine from different perspectives. Ultimately the Divine is able to use any religion to bring us back to It.

No, because my religion (more of a philosophy) wouldn't exist if there were no other religions. It plays off of others in a sarcastic, cynical way sort of. Satanism is the religion I am referring to.

Why would I want to follow a whole world full of religions? I see no reason to change my beliefs just to meet someone's idea of how life should be.

I am a muslim & my religion teaches me to respect other peoples religions...
They have their own concepts & their own beliefs....
So I dont thing that there should only be one religion, mine.
I think I should let others do what ever they want untill they harm me.....
It makes no difference to me who practices what...
As a muslim I believe in Christ, & in Jewih beliefs...
but FOR ME, MY religion ISLAM is best...
No other religion is better than mine in front of me...

I keep posting this answer, and people keep posting variations of the basic question. The basic question is about RELIGIONs. My standard answer is:
Religions are like boogers. You are allowed to pick your own, but your friends and neighbors are allowed to express amusement, shock, or disgust at what they see you willingly swallow.
