Sometimes when recording a build up of feedback or the inner workings of the machine can sometimes make it sound like voices.
If you practice magic ceremonies you should be much more meticulous than you are with your spelling and grammar. Especially the reference to "my" [ceramonium magic rituals] kind of suggests that your problem might be that you don't understand the forces you are dealing with. They don't belong to you. It wouldn't hurt to cast a little protection spell.
Follow closely:
Take the rooks (castles) from a chess set. Carve a pentagram into the the bottom of each and leave them in the moonlight overnight--on the full moon. Put a rook near each entrance to the room. Put a clove of garlic on top of each rook. Leave for three days as the moon is waning. Do not touch the garlic as you discard of it. Bury the garlic and the rooks in the earth.

Don't put a tape recorder on an altar though. No wonder you heard strange voices. If you are afraid of spirit voices maybe you should stop performing magical rituals until you understand them better.

You should do some searches on EVP, they've got more information than I have. If you want to just leave the mic running all night, go ahead. Not sure if you'll get anything or not. Better than the EVP I got...the voice of an annoyed old woman telling me, my cousin and his friend "Go kids, go!" You don't need to do any magical rituals, you're simply picking up on what's already there. EVP are at a lower frequency than the sounds most humans can hear, but recording equipment can pick up on it.

Just leave it out no harm done.Just random soul/spirit voices passing by of all that passed through there. Also no need for magic at this point , but keep it handy just in case.
Read the Book the haunted field guide series(Ghost tech, The Essential Guide to Paranormal Investigation Equipment by Vince Wilson Isbn:1-8923532-39-6).
Apparently you did not do much prior research before jumping into unknown waters .

Have you considered that the track was already there? Sounds like a technical problem or maybe you messed up a ceremonial ritual, in that case your doomed.
