Reincarnation is a truth and if a book denies it...truth does not change...after all Sun does not circle the earth..and the earth does not become flat... to prove a book right. Truth is Truth !!
Our soul starts its journey in chemicals...and after each awakening find itself in plants, animals and finally human beings.
As humans we have to learn millions of lessons of pains and joys, richness and poverties, cruelty and kindness, killing and be killed, ...till we reach our next mind evolution i.e. Divinity.
One life is not sufficient for all these lessons. hence our soul after death goes to another body to learn other sets of lessons
The paradoxes as to why some are born rich some poor, some without mind or without limbs...some from poverty going to utter richness...some spiritual from childhood... can not be explained without Reincarnation
Many during the hypnotic state have remembered their last birth.
Why we dont remember past birth? Because Nature does not want us to get entangled to our last relations...so that we can freely learn new lessons...that z why She takes away the gross memory at death..and leads soul to new body with the resultant progress earned during last births.

Reincarnation is not supported by the Bible, therefore Christians do not support the doctrine.
John 9:1, 2 reads: “Now as he [Jesus] was passing along he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him: 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, so that he was born blind?’” Some who believe in reincarnation suggest that since this man was born blind, his sin must have occurred in a former life.
But whatever it was that gave rise to the disciples’ question, the answer Jesus gave must be the deciding factor.
He declared: “Neither this man sinned nor his parents.” (John 9:3)
This contradicts reincarnation, which implies that disabilities depend on sins from a former life. The point that nobody can sin before being born was also made by Paul when he wrote about Esau and Jacob that “they had not yet been born nor had practiced anything good or vile.” (Romans 9:11)
The reason people suffer & die is because we inherited imperfection and sinfulness from Adam & Eve. When A&E listened to Satan's lie and directly disobeyed God, they became imperfect sinners. "Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin..." (Romans 5:12-15)
Satan challenged God's rulership, saying that humans didn't need God to help them. Satan lied to Eve and encouraged her to eat the forbidden fruit. The challenge that Satan raised needs to be answered before God destroys all wickedness in the Earth.
This example describes it well:
Imagine a class full of students.
The teacher is showing the students a method of solving a complicated problem.
One intelligent, but rebellious, student raises his hand and challenges the teachers method of teaching.
Implying that the teacher is not capable, the student insistas he knows better. Some other students think he is right & also rebel against the teacher.
What should the teacher do?
If he throws the rebellious students out of the class, what will be the effect on the other students? Will they not believe their fellow student was right? The students might lose respect for their teacher, thinking he is afraid of being proved wrong.
Suppose the teacher allows the rebellious student how he would solve the problem.
This illustration applies to God & all creation in the Universe.
God has allowed humans to rule themselves under Satan's guidance - and look where it has got us.
The teacher in the example knows the rebel is wrong. By allowing him the oppurtunity to try to prove the teacher wrong, the whole class benefits. When the rebel fails, all honest students will see that the teacher is the only one who can lead the class.
does that make sense??
It doesn't directly answer your question... but it answers the question of whether Christians believe in reincarnation.

Muslim aspect is that there is surely rebirth after our death here in this world.
We will reborn, infact we will be raised again from our graves on the judgement day for our punishment or award....
Who decides ages?
it is the GOD ofcource....
Sin is not the reason of death....
It is just all the ages & birth time & death time & day & place is decided before we are born....
GOD gives chances to us as long as we are alive...
Chances of how much we serve HIM?
How much do we Follow him...
A sinner lives longer, means he has still time to repent, & return to GOD's word /teaching.
& if a new born child dies, it means he is going to Heaven already but the Death has to occur to him, so he borns & dies in a small time period.

Sin is not the reason for death. God limited the life of man, that is the reason that we die.
You are judged in the next world, not this one, the just die young and the evil live on, and neither is an example of God judging that person.
You are judged AFTER you die. Not while you are living.

According to islamic teaching Allah the only one God made a decree when Allah blew the soul and spirit into the womb of a woman who will pregnant.God's decree determined one's age (born and death)male/female,.destiny,subsistence, and spouse and kids or no spouse at all..But we ourselves do not know it only God knows everything.Someone will die in a very old age and the other will die in an everage age of 60 and the other will die early as a baby.God determined also the cause of his/her death.except in the suicide death which is not allowed by God.
The suivcide soul and spirit will go to hell as a hard God's punishment..
In line with islamic teaching all babies are born without sin. They are clean like a white paper.Sin will be made by themselves since they are grown up if they have many wrong doings.and they do not not ask for forgiveness to the related persons and directly to Allah the only one God.God has given a life guide for humans in the form of holy book.Humans are free to choose a right path or a wrong path but he/she should account for his/her own doings with its consequencies. (go to heaven or hell for eternal life after death ).Bad person has the possibility of long life if God gives him/her an opportunity to regret or his/her sin will be bigger .It depends on his/her choice.Kids,wife/husband,wealth rich.poor ,health, sick, subsistence etc are trusted from God and it will be a tool for God's testing on one's faith..In our holy Qur'an God spoke that all creatures including humans who have soul and spirit will die.The spirit/soul of the dead will go into a waiting room that is called alam barzah before they will be judged by Allah in a final court after resurrection day.Rebirth or reincarna- tion is against with islamic religion.Have you a strong evidence that someone has been reborn?
In Islam there is no believe in rebirth/reincarnation..

Death has no name
It is not Racist on any form. It takes without thought or compassion.
It does not matter about this life, What really matters is the Everlasting Life that we all have a chance at gaining if we Believe.

the Just born are not sinners at all. we as Muslims dont believe in the original sin. therefore babies are not sinners by nature and automatically go straight to heaven if they were to die.
