Vitamin C....Golden Seal....Olive Leaf Extract...no flu shots! Your body will get used to this. Daycare centers are breeding grounds for bacteria. Once your immune system is back up you will probably not get sick again!

First, be sure to get a flu shot this year.
I worked in day care for many years and got sick a lot too. The things that helped me the most to get well faster were taking Royal Jelly, echinacea and goldseal. Washing your hands a lot helps too. Exercising also helps boost your immune system.
I still work with kids - teaching and when school starts back, I start taking echinacea.
For now though, you need to concentrate on getting well. You probably need to take some time off of work so you don't get more germs while you are recovering. Also, since you are on antibiotics, you should be eating yogurt.

This is super common when people start working at a day care. You are going through the initial exposure stage to all of these new viruses and soon you will be immune to most of them. I know that most nurses and doctors experience the same thing when they are first working in hospitals.
Of course, knowing that you won't have to deal with this forever isn't helping you today. The only things that have been shown to improve the immune system is exercise, getting enough sleep, avoiding major alcohol consumption, and vitamin C.
Don't get super drunk (some alcohol is fine) and if you feel like you are starting to come down with something, take some vitamin C. You probably will need to get vitamin C tablets, because this is much easier to take in large quantities than drinking orange juice. Also, exercising has been shown to improve immune system performance in tests. Also, good hygiene will help when around the kids. I was once told to imagine all little kids as being covered with a thin layer of feces. This should help you remember to wash your hands whenever you are working.

Since you work in a daycare, the first little secret that I have for you is that Green Tea bags put directly on the eyes as a cold compress (2 or 3 times a day as needed) will clear pink eye in a matter of one day and prevents it from being contagious. Green tea attacks free radicals that attack cells in your system. Drink at least two glasses a day. Not only will it help with you being tired (caffeine), but it will flush your system.

Also, Airborne is great. You can get it at Wal-Mart and it truly is a miracle drug for illnesses.

I take Wheat Grass tablets that I purchased online from Pines Wheat Grass and haven't gotten sick at all this year. Wheat grass cleanses the colon and aids digestion, which frees up your body's resources to attack illness.

Finally, encourage more hand-washing at the daycare and when the kids are down for a nap, use Lysol wipes on the toys and eating surfaces. This will not only be better for the children, but will help you out too.

Brandy you have got to see this site www.nature-s-health.com If you want to you can go to a local TCM Doc in your town they balance the body with herbs and there medicine is 3,000 to 5,000 years old compared to our western medicine medicine of about 200 years old. I was sick the first 5 years i lived here in Utah until I saw Dr CAO then he fixed me up with herbs and I may get just a touch one day and then its over with.

Read though the site and ask him questions Dr Cao will ask you if your body warm or cold mostly and then will give you ideas on what to use. A local TMC would do a little better to get your body in total balance.
You have to understand one thing is all a regular MD will do will give you is antibiotics the only thing is we have used them for so many years that they have become restraint and then it destroys the good flora in the body which bring down the bodies resistant
even further.
My son and my self were sick for many years with throat and chest issues until I saw DR Cao TCM . I have not been sick for about 4 years now.

Do not get flu shot ! why infect yourself on purpose.
Use percel and wash hands and have school clean the pre school toys often.

You should ask your doctor to get your immune system checked. That means a blood test for IgA, IgG and IgM. Also, if you are low in iron, your immune system will be low. You should also try and eat better. This is hard to do if you are always sick. Teachers and other people that work with children are often sick in the first year. And if you have a weak immune system, this will not help.

be careful. you could be walking around with the beginnings of pneumonia. and you WILL need a doctor for that. Do something now, before you end up hospitalized. Sounds like you might be anemic too.

How is you home life? Are you eating right? It might be that the job is not what you really want. It sounds like depression to me.
