It's easy to feel connected to someone through cyberspace, but it's hard to know if you have chemistry until you spend time, live and in person.

I had a connection with someone that I met online and for a period of several months, we talked nonstop on AIM and sent very lengthy, verbose emails to each other. During this period, we exchanged photos and because the online barrier allowed us to be more freely open with each other than perhaps we might have been in real life, we quickly admitted that we had feelings for each other and were falling in love with each other. While it seemed so real at the time, looking back on what transpired, I realize now that while we certainly became good friends, there was absolutely no way we knew enough about each other to declare our undying love. While we could both ascertain that we were honest, trustworthy people, the fact of the matter is you really can't truly know someone until you meet face to face. We talked about everything, but online, you can pretty much find anyone to talk to about anything and they are much less inclined to judge you. Personally, although I know some people have indeed met the one online, I think that online connections are apt to leave people dissappointed and since you don't know the person face to face, you may be inclined to you overlook any faults they have, ect. But you know, online relationships/friendships are probably like any others in life... you think this person is the one or your very best friend, but then just a quickly as they come into your life, they can fade away... so I don't nessecarily know if the online part of it is to blame... it may just be human nature.

No I don't because you have to spend time with a person in a relationship to relate to one another, in order to produce love. Cyber relationships are electronic relationships, which have ( no pun intended) , no grounding whatsoever ! Nothing from nothing is nothing you have to have something for a relationship to occur.
