A doctor is riding his camel through the desert when it becomes lame. He has passed a well 2 days ride back, and knows it is 3 days ride to his destination, a sick man in a town. He knows he has not got enough water to make it to the town, so he decides to go back to the well and wait for a camel train to take him to the town. He only just makes it to the well before perishing, and is so weak that when he attempts to retrieve the bucket, he falls in and drowns.

If the doctor knew how to heal the sick....why did he need water to heal a lame camel?
He should have used his medical supplies to fix the camel's leg, and continued his journey to his destination.

The moral is don't forget that you are a doctor and there is a difference between dehydration and lameness. (don't forget who you are....what your purpose is....and why you chose a camel to cross the desert on).

you are trying to figure out an excuse for being late for work I guess. Lets see, a moral, hmmm. Always make sure you have your fall prevention harness on near a well! Keep a spare tire in the trunk of your car, inflated and with the tools to change it. Travel with at least two Camels in the desert. Take the bus, taxi or plane instead of going for a Camel ride! Invest in a Satelite Phone. Always carry an emergency supply of instant dehydrated water in your hip pocket. Never walk more than a mile for a Camel.

Always travel through the desert with a spare camel in tow in case your primary camel comes up lame, otherwise you may die.

That maybe a doctor should spend less time dicking around in the desert and spend more time in the hospitle? Or perhaps he should have invested in a car?
