How would they know? They can't prove evolution wasn't real unless they saw it all through time, or if they were gods. Fossils show changes between species like snapshots in time. That would seem like proof to me.

Darwin said himself that the answer to evolution would be found in the fossil record. The fossil record is over 100 million fossils strong, and still not one transitional phase showing macro evolution. So, you're right, the fossils are the proof, but not really the proof you were thinking of.

Old question. But try this for an answer. Based on simple math. If mankind began evolving millions of years ago with an expected life span of 40 there would have been needed some population growth for man to evolve. If that growth was even minimal - say every couple averaged less than 3 kids - say 2.5 then the current population would have to be 100's of trillions. Now if there was some natural disaster (i.e. a great flood) that wiped out that kind of population then there would be some kind of archelogical record. Millions even billions of fossilized humans.

But if man began about 6,000 years ago, then suffered a catastrophe - say the flood about 4,500 years ago - that expected growth rate puts us right on track with todays population.

Christians say they don't believe in evolution because it isn't entirely proven, yet they'll turn and believe something for which there is no proof.

While I cannot say that evolution is THE absolute answer, despite all science pretty much confirming all of its theories, but I'll certainly pick the option with the most (any) evidence.

ok, nicely the best judgment of your "undertaking" is incorrect. you're claiming that if no possible disprove that the Christian god is genuine, then he could desire to be. yet scientifically it is incorrect. The absence of evidence to contradict some thing would not teach its existence. If issues labored this way, then i ought to undertaking you by capacity of asserting, "Disprove my theory that there is a enormous alien interior the sunlight." considering the fact which you are able to no longer "disprove" this one hundred% then it would be genuine... there's a great alien interior the sunlight. the genuine undertaking is to coach your declare, that God is genuine. which won't be able to be executed the two, in spite of the indisputable fact that it would not propose he/she isn't. It in basic terms capacity you should count on your individual faith one way or the different. replace: you're fending off the factor. i ought to assert the comparable element approximately any concept. no longer being waiting to disprove it, would not teach it - it incredibly is the factor. And out of your perspective you think of an alien interior the sunlight is illogical, yet there replaced right into a time while maximum persons on earth believed in distinctive gods (paganism) and a single god replaced into theory to be illogical. some might say that believing in gods in any respect is extra secret and sci-fi than any alien in a sunlight. the factor is, it incredibly is not any longer shown, it incredibly is not any longer disproven and your attempt case nevertheless would not postpone.

Yes. The Bible says that animals reproduced "according to their kind." If animal fossils were as conclusive a evolution "proof" as you say, then why is evolution STILL considered a theory?

They don't have to say it isn't real, they already think the entire world, human individuality, the human mind and reason are all illusions and their "real world" is an unknowable mindless mystical fantasy land. Saying human beings evolved from animals is no different than saying 1+1=2 to a Christian. If it ain't in the Bible, it ain't in God's Heaven, and it ain't real or important. The ultimate expression of all religions is to ignore reality and die.

Not Christians -- a subset of Bible-believing Christians who became so enamored of a political doctrine designed to wedge religion into public school that they made it their primary belief.

If you give importance to "evolution", theology may lose its value.
Ultimately you will be an aethist! Every religion begins with genesis of human being.

Been shot full of holes so many times, its amazing that they continue to believe in it. Even Darwin said in his book he didn't believe in this theory.

they disprove it by using a red herring. they say that god has planted the fossils to trick people which is an easy way to get out of any discussion because nobody knows what exactly "god" is doing
