The Very First Amendment to the United States Constitution States: Congress shall make NO LAW respecting an establishment of 1.RELIGION, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of 2.SPEECH, or of the 3.PRESS; or the right of the people peaceably to 4.ASSEMBLE, and to 5.PETITION the government for a redress of grievances. - Now I'd say that about sums it up! So Shut - up, as you are infringing on my rights. I stopped believing in God jr.(SANTA) at an early age.
How the hell do you explain The Human(PRIMATE) Genome, or Genetic Engineering? Are we merely correcting GOD's mistakes? There would not be any birth defects, if there were in fact some PERFECT GOD, watching over us. Do yourself, and the world a favor, pick up a book on Nucleoside Research, or Genetic Engineering, basically get a real life. Christianity has stolen it's holiest day from The Pagan God Mythra, in it's day of thanks for a good harvest.

That's the beauty of living in a society that guarantees freedom of speech and religion to everyone, no matter if they disagree with everything else. As Voltaire said, I may disagree vehemently with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. Anyone who respects the First Amendment should be willing to reciprocate.

God doesn't make mistakes. It's just that too many people won't trust Him and follow Him when things don't go the way we think they should. I've got a chronic medical condition that leaves me in pain much of each day, but I don't consider it a "mistake" at all. I think God can allow such things to help develop character that we wouldn't have if our lives were "perfect" (however you define it) and we had no challenges whatsoever. And if we blame God for our problems but then reject the grace and peace He offers us no matter what our circumstances, it pretty much says that no matter how bad life is, we don't want His solutions but we'd rather rant at God because we can. Doesn't sound like a very pleasant alternative given that He offers us the grace and peace we're looking for if we'd just ask. Too bad more people don't ask.
