I'm 30 and I agree with you 100%. It seems like the norm is to have children before marriage. I think I have something like 7 cousins that have had children before marriage. Why don't people do the right thing and get married? I say follow the Bible as well, but the don't do that. They should all be scared about what's going to happen to them. I mean if you choose to live a life based on your own standards, then how do you expect God to bless your life, they are doomed for hardship and problems and they ask for it. Wait for judgment day when they have to face God themselves. By the way, we are living in end times and that's why we see this more and more. Let's continue to be examples to others and continue to do what is right.

Christians still enjoy the majority of the faithful in the world.
People's morals are no longer being defined quite as rigidly by an outdated book. Morality is a human concept, based in culture and society. Marriage is a human concept that was created for population control, and monogamy is not an inherent instinct in humans, rather its a choice.
As for the sex before marriage/single parent statements you make, you need to drop that squarely in the lap of the faithful (at least in the USA). The federal gov't has taken the approach that abstinence is the only means of birth control that should be taught in public schools. Most of the influence for this comes from the Religious Right, and elected officials who can't seperate their faith from their job. It has been proven statistically that the more people are educated, the better the choices they will make. Teaching condom usage won't encourage promiscuity, but responsible action. Teaching about birth control pills will help cut down on unwanted pregnancy. These things will greatly help. Keeping abortion legal, and educating the public about it as an elective procedure, rather than a polarizing political standpoint will cut down on them occuring. Pro-choice and pro-life are NOT mutually exclusive. Unfortunately, its impossible to convince certain groups of people that following 2000 year old rules in a modern world is a bad idea.
EDIT: I would just like to take a moment to thank the poster above me, who illustrates my point that fundamentalism is only encouraging the problem, not helping it. Imposing morality via the theocratic system you seem to want so bad will only make the forbidden fruit that much more tempting.

These things will continue as you have stated until the following things happen. 1) Prayer, vocal prayer must be reinstated in all public forums, especially the public school systems. 2) Abortion must be condemned and outlawed by the federal government. 3) Judges who have traditionally ignored values important to this nation must be replaced with God fearing Judges who will obey the Bible and then the Constitution. 4) Organizations such as Planned Parenthood, The ACLU, NAMBLA, NOW, The NEA, and a host of other organizations must make the Bible their No 1 authority, or be dismantled. 5) Respect must be brought back to the people who serve the public, such as police, firefighters, letter carriers, the military.
2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Where have all the Christians gone long time passing.Where have all the morals gone ?gone to graveyards every one.
The principles and guidelines of the bible are not that easy to follow in reality.Isn't that what your God wanted plenty of people to repopulate the world.
we have always have had Dis-eases. after all we are living under the rein of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War, pestilence, famine and Death.

This question implies that only Christians have morals. It also implies that morals are dictated by Christianity. There are many good and moral people of other faiths.
To answer the question, Christians are alive and well. They aren't hiding. Look around and you'll see them. Seek and ye shall find.
FUNANA: For the record, people have *always* loved self more than God. (Not just in the time in which we are living.) A huge shift in consciousness must occur before self "dies" and yields to love God more than its own mind and ego.

I am right here. I am a God-fearing Christian man and my morals are very strong. I do not believe in sex before marriage nor do I encourage it. I cannot understand the youth of nowdays. The only thing I do know is that a lot of them deserve the beatings I received growing up and they are not getting them. Punishment by my parents has kept me out of jail and has kept from doing things I know that are wrong.

i'm a christian~wiccan and my beliefs say to live by the bible worship our god and honor his wishes, BUT they also say that sex is not something to be ashamed of and if two people love each other then in gods eyes they are married and can live with each other and have children, sexuality is apart of nature and is to be respected not hidden from public, most culture celebrate sex they dont get embarased by it and only talk about it in whispers, so stop freaking and join us in the happy side of life, when jesus came the rules changed :)

They have done exactly as the Bible predicted....
In 2 Timothy 4:3-4 Paul says, “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” (NIV)

It has all got to do with what we are taught with what being a Christian means.
Based on the word of God our relationship with God is to be in Christ ie to walk in the Spirit if we are to enjoy our spiritual inheritance. However in our relationship with other Christians and non-believers we are to be like Christ. If we aim to be transformed to be like Christ we are salt and light to people around us. We make a difference by being a Chistian and not do the sinful things you mentioned. We all need to know rightly what it takes to be a Christian.

Check your history. I recomend your Countries census records and real old news stories. The rates of all these things have not changed very much. Preachers have always painted a picture of increasing chaos and used scare tactics for their own gain, sorry.
