The "special K challenge" is a horrific marketing ploy. At 14 your body is going thru a lot, and I know from experience. I dated a couple of girls that were overweight and not attractive when they showed me pics of them at 14. But they lost the weight naturally as their bodies changed and ended up being hot as hell. Just go for walks with your mom or dad once and a while, stay active, and this will work itself out. You don't need to do a fad diet to be in shape. My fiancee showed me a pic of her at 15 and I was like "oh my god, who is that?". We are getting married next year and she is smoking hot. Don't fret about it and do crappy diets, stay as active as you can and your body will figure itself out.

No. Special K is a great cereal but I wouldn't worry about your weight too much. What ever happened to being happy with the way people see you spiritually, emotionally, morally? Don't worry so much. You almost sound anorexic because last time I checked, your weight is perfect for your age and height! You sound vain to me. Health? Worry about your cholesterol. You are not even done growing yet! Jimeny Crickets! Watch, you will lose a ton of weight and look like all of your anorexic, barfy g-friends who think they look hot on the outside (if only they had a clue what was going on in their esophoguses and how near death will be if they keep it up), only to grow 4 or 5 more inches and look like a scare crow. For crying out loud!!!!! You are only 14. You have not stopped growing and won't for a few years. Your weight will catch up with your height and if, at the age of 16, you still feel fat, then, by all means, go ahead and do the Special K thing. It is healthy cereal but now is not the time to eliminate a lot of other essential things your lovely (always be proud of) body needs. You are still growing. Unless you are obese or feel you are heading that way, quit sounding like an anorexic. Love you for you. Don't make yourself what you :"Think" everyone else wants. In the end and all through your life you will realize that it wasn't about everyone else after all. You were always the most important person in your life. so, make "YOU" happy, all the way around everthing in your life. Besides, nobody will be able to go with you when you are done here. Make yourself happy while you are here because, like I said you are the most important person in your life and this is only a stop over. Your body is just a vessel. It is going to turn into....(ewe...you know what) dust when you are done, and guess what? Nobody is going to care how much you weigh, as long as your heart is and was beautiful, you will be fine and happy here and when you return Home.

Yes

The special K diet is not a sound eating plan for anyone. It will lead to nutritional problems. At your age there is nothing wrong with being health aware. However, this kind of diet is not healthy for you at all.

The best way to eat is to have 6 small meals spaced out every two or three hours. Concentrate on getting plenty of protein in your diet and eliminate refined carbohydrates such as white bread and white pasta. No soda. Good luck

i think you could be too young. in your growing years you should learn what helps your body to materialize to its best potential. until you become an adult nutrition should be a high priority in your life. after all you're only a child/kid once in a lifetime. that's a treasure that you shouldn't be so eager to discard.

make fond memories and grow up in your own time....and don't lose that million dollar smile
