Stop ironing, do not use a relaxer until hair has regained normal moisture content. Your hair needs to recover, use conditioners. Wear hats.

Stop using heat type appliances to your hair, too much heat remove the moisture out of your hair, and this will cause dry, brittle hair and then you will have breakage. It sounds like your hair is already damage and you can not apply any chemicals to it until it's back healthily. You need to remove the damage ends get a deep conditioning shampoo and conditioner and wait until it returns to healthy hair then go and buy a relaxer. Get Revlon Realistic Relaxer or Dr. Miracles.

If your hair is that damaged don't relax it that will make your hair fall out! Deep condition it every few days for at least 3 weeks before you put in that relaxer or have it done professionally or I can guarantee that you will loose all your hair.

Pantene pro v 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner seems to make my hair soft and healthy when I repeat applications...i wouldn't suggest putting any more chemicals on your hair...you just adding to a bad situation...just keep it clean using the shampoo I recommended.. use your flat iron if needed and it should be OK...my mother used to be Marylin Monroe's beautician by the way... :) good luck...

No more relaxers or irons...only on occasions.....Let your hair be natural and grow....if its not managable or looks bad find a gel thats not gonna break your hair off and a fake pony ....that is your new style until your hair is undamaged!
