It is important that you get an immediate blood test to check for Thyroid problems.
My hair started thinning & I was told by a skin specialist that it was "male pattern balding" and to live with it.
But when I insisted my local GP check further, he finally realized it might be a symptom of Thyroid problems, and it was!

You have a few options, but first locate the source of your hair loss. Pattern hairloss can be a sign of stress, poor diet, or other more serious health issues. See your family doc if you suspect such a situation.
If you have hereditary hair loss, there are also many options. Nioxin professional salon products offer a full line to maximize your thinning hair and hep regrow new hair. They offer shampoos, conditioners, scalp treatments, styling products and vitamins. Topical medications for hair regrowth, such as Rogaine for Women, are also a popular option. Topical solutions are applied to the scalp and show varied results. They also stop their effects as soon as you stop using them.
Another option may be to see a licensed professional stylist who can guide you in choosing a style that will conceal your thinner areas.
Best of luck!

NIOXIN is a hair care line. it is going to help you regrow a number of your hair. And once you stop making use of it your new hair won't fall out. Rogain does not paintings like that so do no longer waste your $. i'm a hairdresser and that i've got seen 4 human beings use this line of product and if I ever start to unfastened my hair i will purchase it via the truck load. you're able to purchase it at a salon, that's no longer bought in popular shops.

Use a scalp vibrator twice a day. It grows hair by improving circulation. Yes, it is also used below the waist. There is also a solution (Rogaine) you can get from your Dr. that will help grow hair if the follicles are still alive but you have to use it daily or the hair you bring forth will recede.

I have the same problem and I would suggest Rogain for women but it says if you stop using it more hair will fall out. So I decided to just let it be. Now what I do is comb my hair back and wear it in a clip. It isnt noticeable. Good luck.

Guasa boards. Bits of Water Buffallo horn, combined with taking spirallina (some kind of wild grass i think)... I don't think I can spell spirallina.
It made my Dad's hair grow back, which was pretty odd to watch.

Nioxin Shampoo and conditioners works great. It is only available in professional salons or beauty supply stores. My mom used it during chemo and I use it now for alopocia.

Have you seen the doctor? You could try this shampoo bar and it helps to reduce temporary hair loss:
