Because your nose cannot take that kind of velocity. It could rupture membranes in your sinuses. Your body's natural reaction is to open your mouth to alleviate the force of the air coming out. The human body is quite an awesome machine. You were desinged with your fellow earthlings in mind too. If your mouth didn't take up some of the slack, you would never have any friends when you get a cold or when your allergies come on. Everyone would be covered with snot because the nose cannot stop the force within...lol...but your mouth can. LOL!
