It seems like the majority of jw's always get out of subject and context just like there teachings. Why can't they answer the question, instead they forget about the question and state something else. Can it be that they can not admit to the truth and try do drag you into a different subject. Is this the group they call the faithful and discreet slave? Would a faithful person admit to truth or disregard it? I think a biase person would disregard it? Please correct if i am wrong. "I guess everybody has questions" but you might get a better response if you post them.

"Avoid", you ask?

Rather than "avoid" discussing bible truth, the Witnesses are among the most prominent seeking to ENCOURAGE such discussions. Globally, more than 6.5 millions Jehovah's Witnesses share in the public ministry each month. One cannot be considered an "active" Witness unless one preaches.

As true Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses work to please God and Christ rather than man or selves. It does not even matter if anyone listens to their message, since the bible foretold that many (such as the questioner) would not "put up with the healthful teaching". The Witnesses continue to preach because they value the bible's direction more highly than empty accusations and lying slander.

True Christians do not work to persecute godly ministers; true Christians do not avoid teaching the Kingdom good news from house to house. Jehovah's Witnesses are proven to be true Christians in that they follow this command of Christ and example of the early Christians.

(Matthew 28:19-20) [Jesus commanded] Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

I don't think I agree with the premise of your question in general, but there is ONE area in which I have to agree that Jehovah's Witnesses simply avoid the truth. And that is in regard to the name of God. I know that in their literature they admit that the name of God is no longer known except for Y-h-w-h, yet they insist that his name is J-e-h-o-v-a-h. They also avoid the truth about the New World Translation altering some scriptures in the New Testament where the originals say Lord or God, which they have changed to Jehovah. They know it's wrong to change the wording because they're very critical of others who have changed YHWH to Lord or God, but they try to justify it anyway.

But for most other questions, I don't think they avoid the subject. I don't think they're avoiding the subject of God's name, either; but they definitely avoid admitting the truth about God's name - it isn't Jehovah any more than it is Yahweh and the name - according to ALL the New Testament manuscripts - was not in use by Jesus or his disciples. Even if the name WAS in use, it wouldn't justify altering the scriptures. Facts are facts.

Your question is so far off-base, it's almost comical. You say we avoid the truth? That is a pretty broad statement. Why didn't you give an example to back up your claim? Could it be that you just want your own little cheering section so others who think like you can pat you on the back and congratulate you for posing such an insightful and thought-provoking question?

What truth are Jehovah's Witnesses avoiding? Are we avoiding the truth that holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween are all rooted in false religion? Are we shying away from the fact that no true Christians go to war and kill their fellow man? Are we running away from the truth that Jesus Christ is the son of God and not God himself? Were we untruthful and say that no true Christian smokes cigarettes? Did we deceive anyone by exposing false doctrines like the immortality of the human soul, the trinity, and hellfire? Tell me, what truth have we avoided?

That interesting, cause when I'm at someones door trying to discuss a subject, they like to bounce from one subject to another.

I think it's interesting that when we post a question, we get accused of "trolling"

A faithful person looks at what the bible really says, and changes their life to it.

Jehovah's Witnesses around the world are known for following the bible, even as far as death.

Most other religions are know for killing.

I try not to ever argue religion - though I may enjoy a good debate. Sadly though this has been my experience with JWs as well. I did a study with them when I was a young Christian and they challenged many of the things that I was taught but when I would find a Biblical answer that they didn't like they would dismiss the last point and start a new arguement. Is this the way that they're taught to "witness"?

using fact he's the daddy of actuality, Jehovah God hates a mendacity tongue or a pretend witness that speaks lies. Proverbs 6:sixteen-19 says: “There are six issues which Jehovah hateth; yea, seven that are an abomination unto him: haughty eyes, a mendacity tongue, and hands that shed harmless blood; a heart that deviseth depraved purposes, feet that are speedy in working to mischief, a pretend witness that uttereth lies, and he that soweth discord between brethren.” adult men could lie, in spite of the indisputable fact that it incredibly is not any longer using fact Jehovah God needs them to. God isn't a liar. He expects adult men to tell the reality, too.

Mind Control religions operate on a black and white concept. However life does not operate that way, so there are often teachings that they have that are wrong. The Watchtower forbids JWs questioning their beliefs, so the only way their minds can cope when something is obviously wrong is to avoid the topic.

Cult experts refer to this phenomenon as "thought stopping"

They beleive they have the truth and everyone else does this.

One thing about the bible it does state that there is only one church, one faith, and one baptism,. So it is natural for people to think their church and beleifs are the right one. Ephesians 4:4, 5, & 6. is my source.

Because they are deceived, even as most of the rest of us are to a greater or lesser extent in different ways. That includes myself. However, though I realize I probably am deceived in some form or another, I can't see where it is to combat it. If I could, I would, but I can't. Until the One who is Truth shows me, I won't know.

No religion ever worried about truth so why hold them accountable. At least they don't go on TV and preach hatred against groups of people they never met.
