Anti-biotics are for bacterial infections NOT viral. There are no cures for viral, only symptom management. Where did you get the anti-biotics ? You are causing yourself other problems by taking them when you don't have a bacterial infection.
The eye sounds like pink eye and if so, you should just be home and avoiding spreading it around as it is contagious. Conjunctivitis usually clears in a couple of weeks.

I would go to an actual eye doctor, opthamologist for an exam and evaluation. Viral infections are not helped by antibiotics. You might need a cortisone type of eye drop to soothe the inflammation until the infection clears up.

for a viral eye infection no antibiotic is going to do anything. they are two differant creatures. The FLU is a virus while strep throat is caused by bacteria. My advice see a new doctor yours is a hack. and is just going for your money, or go to the ER. as it is treatening your eyesight

She might be scamming you, something like that happened to me once with my dentist...You should go to an emergency room right now! Take all of the medicine, and your doctor's information with you.

Please, you could lose your vision and if infections get worse, you could have some more severe damage to somewhere else in your head. That'll be the best for you to go now!

Antibiotics can't kill virus's. If your doctor prescribed antibiotics and claims it is viral his/her liscence should be revoked!
