The man with old car.... Because he offered something of himself.
Just as it harder for a rich man to get into heaven but easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle!

Good question and I did rate it as good. You see I see something within that I see most who answered did not. I do not know if you intended it that way but I do see it OK.

My friend as every coin does have two sides so does your question. Of course mankind would probably sellect the help others with the sacrifice by having the old car but I think the other side must be considered. OK

This man with the car, was he using that car because God told him to use it or was that use his own idea because he know he is in control of his life? Does that man really know the God who is in control of all? Did God tell him to buy a new car before and the man refused to obey God? Did God tell the man to give a ride to the other person or was that decision based upon a motive dreamed up such as getting credit for giving someone a ride, or planning to rob tha one who was given the ride?

You see my friend a lot of questions can be ask before a decision about the fact of "Revers" can be considered. If these question are not answered any decision would be and could be proven to be the wrong decision.

Now in a deeper thought how does my feeling about the situation help my relationship with my God? Should I not just accept my responsibility and do what is right no matter what my feeling is about the decision of My God? Should I not just accept the fact that My God is correct or else aybe I should think about changing my God?

My friend that question is deep for those who want to go deep but it is very shallow for those who do not desire to seek to find.

With that thanks for the opportunity for me to express the view of a "NO". Do have a great day and do smile a lot.

I think God will bless the man with the old car that gives someone a ride. I am not rich by any means and I am blessed by God when I reach out and help others, just as Jesus would.

Why would god care about any ones car in the first place? And, there is no way, in any situation would god ever revere any man or woman for any action no matter how noble.

Well...from what I have learned about many people's views in this section...if the man with the new car is a believer and the other is not, then I guess a god would like the believer better then the other one who did 'good works'. Sad.

Not enough info.

People who make such a decision based on such scant info are really far too fast to judge. People who keep an open mind when given only this information are the one's God will revere.

What kind of a question is this? Have you heard of the parable of the Good Samaritan?

Obviously it would be the man who offers a ride

Jesus answered that question when He stopped at the temple box and noticed the widow who gave only two little coins but being poor, she gave from her need. This pleased our Lord more that the rich man who gave only from his abundance.
